If you are updating from a 1.8 version of the Gadgets n' Goodies mod, please note that in order for the Musical Instrument to work, you need to go into the config (search %appdata% in your start menu, click ".minecraft" and if you have forge installed, you should have a folder called "config". In the folder you should have a file called "gadgetsngoodies.cfg"). If you have not changed anything in the config, you can go ahead and delete the file, it will reappear once you reload Minecraft. If, however, you have edited the file, open it, and on line 42, change "note.harp" to "block.note.harp".
