Villager Hits adds more than 60 brand-new music discs, each featuring real songs reimagined and sung completely by villagers. Thanks to a little bit of AI magic, those familiar melodies now come with the unmistakable “hmm hmm” style that only villagers can deliver.
All discs work exactly like vanilla music discs: place them in a jukebox and enjoy the performance. But getting them is part of the adventure. The only way to obtain these musical treasures is through the Wandering Trader, who now occasionally carries a selection of Villager Hits discs. Each trader can offer several different discs at once… or none at all if luck is not on your side. Every disc costs 3 emeralds, and each trader only sells one copy of each disc, so if you want to build the ultimate collection you’ll need to keep exploring and meeting new traders across your world.
But the music doesn’t stop there. This mod also adds a few extra goodies for true fans of villager culture. There’s a sweet disc-shaped cookie for players who want a sugary snack while listening to their favorite tracks, and even a new banner pattern shaped like a music disc, perfect for decorating your base, concert halls, or the walls of your villager DJ studio.
Villager Hits is all about collecting, exploring, and discovering new songs in the most unexpected way possible. Hunt down wandering traders, spend your emeralds wisely, and try to collect every single disc to build the ultimate villager soundtrack for your world.
