Added a Curse System

303 can now curse you with different unique curses. While this feature is still in beta, curses are given at random times. When a curse is applied, you'll be told what it is and how it works. You'll also be notified when it is removed.

Sound Redesign

• Added up to 10 new sounds and unique beats. (Played at random.)

303 Redesign

• Redesigned Entity 303.

New Entities

• Added 2 new 303 variants, each with a unique goal in mind.

New Event Handling System

A new event handling system has been added. Superior to the last one? No. But it now works globally instead of relying entirely on player ticks.

Half of the events still use player ticks, while the other half now use global ticks. This means global events happen to all players at the same time instead of each player receiving their own separate event.

Curse System

A brand-new curse system has been added! This is my favorite update so far.

The system is currently in beta, so there are only 4 curses available. The remaining curses will be added in the full release.

Sol's Scorn

"The sun refuses your existence."

Daylight burns like holy fire. Every clear sky becomes a trial as the sun punishes your every step.

Eclipse Brand

"The moon has turned against you."

The night no longer offers safety. Standing beneath the moon's direct light scorches your flesh, forcing you to hide from the darkness itself.

Hollow Hunger

"The emptiness inside you can never be filled."

No meal truly satisfies. Hunger returns unnaturally fast, as if something within you is consuming every bite before it can nourish you.

Sleepless Oath

"The night has denied you peace."

Sleep no longer brings rest.

These curses are temporary and will be removed after a certain amount of time.

When a player joins a server, they can choose between Global Curses and Individual Curses. This option is intended for multiplayer.

Global Curses

All players receive the same curse at the same time.

Individual Curses

Each player receives their own individual curse, and each curse is removed at its own time.

Other Stuff...

I'm like 99% sure I changed a lot more than this... I just forgot. If you notice something different, just pretend I meant to leave it as a surprise.

What's Next?

The next update is going to focus on making Entity 303 feel less like an event... and more like a presence.

Things you can expect:

• More curses.
• More 303 variants with unique behaviors.
• New events and encounters.
• More ambient sounds and creepy audio.
• More ways for the world to feel "wrong."
• Better multiplayer interactions.
• More things that make you question if what you just saw actually happened.
