- Added Sand Sticks, an item crafted from two sandstone in sets of four. Can replace sticks in a select few recipes, or combined in a 2x2 crafting grid to get a crafting table.
- Added Sandstone tools and armor. Tools are equivalent of wood and have 93 durability. Armor is less effective than leather but lasts longer.
- Added smelting recipe for turning rotten flesh to leather. Other mods do the same, but it fits in well with Desert assist, so it was implemented regardless.
- Added recipes for turning nine sand into nine dirt, as well as a sapling recipe for Sand Sticks as well as vanilla sticks. Combining a Sand Stick with a dirt block will return a birch sapling. Using a vanilla stick instead will yield an oak sapling.
- Added a grass block recipe, yielding eight when crafting eight dirt with one bonemeal.
- Added recipes for beds, replacing wool with sand. Normal sand will result in a white bed, and red sand will make the bed red instead.
- Added torch recipe compatibility with sand sticks, so they can be crafted using either coal or charcoal.
- Added gravel recipe made with two sand and two dirt each, similar to the recipe of coarse dirt.
- Added Sand Feathers, as well as a recipe that crafts four of them.
- Added Sand Feather and Sand Stick compatibility for arrow recipes. Either item can be replaced by their vanilla counterparts.
- Added Dragonfruit, which is slightly better than an apple in both hunger and saturation.
- Added crafting recipe for turning one cactus into three Dragonfruit.
