This update focuses on cleanup, interaction fixes, and the early foundation for the Herobrine/Fogbound system.


Chicken Staff Improvements

Fixed Staff Chicken Interaction Hint

Improved the way the Chicken Staff hint appears when interacting with your staff chicken.

Changes include:

  • Replaced the Staff Chicken for a more Useful Chest Carrying Chicken that requires right click to open with the staff in hand to open the chest.
  • Empty-hand interaction now correctly shows the Chicken Staff hint again.
  • Interacting with the chicken while holding any non-staff item now also shows the hint.
  • The hint now stays visible for about 5 seconds.
  • The hint has a short cooldown of about 10 seconds so it does not spam the player constantly.

This should make the Chicken Staff easier to understand for players who forget how to despawn or interact with their chicken companion.


Herobrine / Fogbound System Groundwork

Added early groundwork for the future Herobrine-style transformation system.

Added Fogbound Relic Prototype

Added a prototype item/system for entering the Fogbound/Herobrine form.

Current groundwork includes:

  • A Fogbound Relic that can toggle the prototype transformation.
  • The player becomes invisible while transformed.
  • The player’s name tag is hidden using a scoreboard team system.
  • Transformation state is stored on the player.
  • A custom Fogbound-style HUD appears while transformed.

Added Prototype Ability Controls

While transformed, the number keys are used as ability buttons instead of normal hotbar switching.

Prototype controls include:

  • 1 — Vanish Pulse
  • 2 — Shadow Step
  • 3 — Door Haunt
  • 4 — Torch Curse / Darkness Pulse
  • 0 — Return / Exit Transformation

To support the transformation system, normal player actions are blocked while transformed, including:

  • Normal attacking.
  • Placing blocks.
  • Using items.
  • Interacting with blocks.
  • Normal hotbar switching.

The vanilla hotbar, XP bar, and item-name overlay are also hidden while in the prototype form.


Herobrine Shrine / Admin Vote System

Added early shrine activation logic for the Herobrine system.

Changes include:

  • Activating the shrine can now start an admin vote if no Herobrine currently exists.
  • Admins/operators receive clickable YES and NO vote buttons.
  • Admins can also vote using the command:
 
/herobrinevote yes <vote_id>
/herobrinevote no <vote_id>
 
  • A strict majority YES vote is required for approval.

This creates a controlled multiplayer-friendly way for the Herobrine transformation/event system to be unlocked instead of letting anyone activate it instantly.


Creative Tab

The mod now has/continues to use a dedicated Fowevah Tools creative tab containing the mod’s custom items, making them easier to find in Creative Mode.


Notes

This update is mostly a foundation and quality-of-life update. The Herobrine/Fogbound system is still in a prototype stage, but the basic transformation structure, HUD behavior, ability key system, and admin approval flow are now being built into the mod.

The new hunt and tame system is WIP so any items related to it arent currently working as intended and shouldnt be used.
