Description
Adds two new blocks:
The Fluid Sensor:
A new redstone block which can detect water in the direction it is facing, with signal strength dependent on the type - from water source blocks, through hydrated farmland, to rain!
Useful for hidden switches, fluid-based redstone systems, and more!
Outputs particles dependent on signal strength.
Requires a comparator to output a redstone signal.
Different types of water output different signal strengths:
- Water sources: 15
- Bubble columns: 13
- Flowing water: 13-6, depending on water level
- Non-water still fluids: 5
(only Lava, in vanilla)
- Waterlogged blocks: 5
- Non-water flowing fluids: 4
- Hydrated farmland / live coral / wet sponge: 3
- Thunderstorm rain: 2*
- Regular rain: 1*
*: only when facing up.
Etched Prismarine:
Simplified version of the Fluid Sensor, which can only detect certain fluid states but outputs redstone directly.
Animated texture which changes depending on signal strength detected.
Crafted from dark prismarine, with a redstone block core.
