Fisecraft is my first Minecraft mod, completing yet another childhood dream! It adds a little bit of everything, from food and building blocks to tools and utility items. If you are looking for a small to medium size mod to add to your modpack that others haven't seen - this one's for you. I recommend using it with a mod that lets you see recipes and blocks. I can't guarantee compability with other mods but it should work just fine! Feedback and questions are welcome.
The mod adds 100 new recipes, 42 blocks, 47 items, 4 mobs (1 boss) and 2 structures, as of the latest version. There is also a config with several settings.
Content
Roots
Right now, the core of the mod are the Root item and the things you can make from it. Roots generate commonly in caves and can be used to make a set of tools and armor that is effective but breaks fast (similar to Gold), many decorative blocks, and two sets of stairs, slabs, walls, doors and trapdoors. Can be used for rough / underground builds.
- Root item, root that generates in the world
- Several recipes, for example roots can be used to craft brown dye or ladders
- Block of Roots and its 4 variants (chiseled, smooth, rough and shiny)
- Full set of stairs, slabs, walls, doors and trapdoors for the Block of Roots and its smooth variant
- A sword that can drop roots, tools, and armor
More life
This mod adds 4 new mobs:
- Rootglass: Emotionless creature. Spawns in dry places, low health, can be tamed with Roots, can be bred with Clocks, can be killed for Roots and Sand/Glass
- Dire Knight: Brutal killer. Spawns in the Nether, rarely, mini boss
- Endeye: Watching flight. Spawns in the End
- Rootguardian: Boss of roots. Summoned with an Hourglass Idol, or rarely when murdering his children
Teleportation
This mod adds expensive teleportation methods, which may feel more balanced than other mods that let you teleport back to a place for free. Note that these do not remove any blocks so you may have to act quickly to not suffocate. They give a few seconds of protection.
- Escapelevator: Teleports you to y200, used to quickly leave a cave / the underground
- Digelevator: Teleports you to y-55, used to quickly get into the underground.
- Airplane Block: VERY expensive, costs a nether star, an elytra, and lots of iron. When right clicked with a piece of paper, it teleports you 10 000 blocks into that direction. Like an airport. Very useful if you have multiple houses far away from each other, for example in multiplayer.
Enchantments
This mod adds three enchantments, two of them are curses, and two are linked to Roots.
- Curse of Spontaneous Combustion: When attacked, you sometimes start burning
- Curse of the Root: When attacked, you sometimes get poisoned, or slowed and drop a Root.
- Elmending: When attacking enemies, roots are dropped sometimes.
Flowers
The mod also adds three flowers that can be duplicated with bonemeal, and can be crafted into rare dyes and other things. Two of them can be used to create lamps identical to a redstone lamp.
- Shadowflower: Found in spooky biomes. Can be used to make a lamp or black dye - which is very hard to get without any mods that make it easier. Slows you down.
- Lightflower: Found in coldbiomes. Can be used to make a lamp or white dye. Light source. Speeds you up a little bit.
- Aloee: Green flower found in the savanna. Can be used to make green dye. Can be used to craft a block, or bandages that can be consumed to heal you.
Food
- Kremelo: A new crop. Seeds crafted with wheat seeds, beetroot seeds, a root, a milk bucket, red dye and orange dye. Can be planted and bone mealed normally. Kremelo can be turned into a block, which can be smelted for a smooth version. It can also be turned into Kremelo Soup and Kremelo Sticks.
- Enderfruit: Crafted with chorus fruit and ender pearl, teleports you a few dozen blocks into the direction you are looking to. Might not work if the block is occupied.
- Honeysquash: Crafted with bee wax, potato and redstone. Delicious food that gives you speed and regeneration.
