WARNING! THIS UPDATE REMOVES ALL WANDS AND STAFFS FROM PREVIOUS UPDATES AND REPLACED THEM! MORE INFO IN FIXES AND CHANGES!

CAST AND CONFIG UPDATE


Fixes and Changes:

- Most of the mod is now Configurable. Most values within the mod such as how long a Protector mob is hired or how much Soul Energy is needed to cast a spell, can now be configured.

- Removed all instances of previous wands and staffs and replaces them with Soul Wand, Soul Staff and Wand Focuses.

- Default values on the amount of Soul Energy gained is increased by 5 times.

- Dark and Necro armor sets are slightly redesigned and can repair themselves using Soul Energy (Can be disabled through Config)

- Hexer Spawning can be disabled.

- Undead Minions no longer attack each other.

- Undead Minions last longer.

- Mutated Meat now functions properly and can be eaten multiple times.

- Roar Spell have a larger radius.

- Cripple Spell takes less time to cast. (Can be configured)

- Callers no longer Blind Players.

- It takes longer before Caller gives Players Wither or take periodic damage.

- Callers give all Players 64 blocks around it Evil Eye Effect when destroyed.

- Caller Meteors now spawn Nethernal, and only spawns Scorches along with the new mob on Hard Difficulty

- Caller summons meteors less frequently.

- Changed the Obsidian on the Totems in the Profaned Shrine to be the new Tailless Lightning Totem Heads

 

Additions:

Items:

- Soul Wand and Staff. Similar to the old Wands and Staffs, but can cast different spells depending on the Focus equipped. To open inventory, right click while crouching.

- Wand Focus. Each Wand Focus allows the player to cast a certain spell when inserted into a Soul Wand or Staff.

- Focus Bags. Only stores Wand Focuses. Currently does not allow swapping between focus (yet, hopefully)

 

Spells:

- Channeling Spells. A new category of Spells that casts the spell as long as the player holds down right click or until player runs out of Soul Energy.

- Spiderling Spell. Constantly spawns Spiderlings to attack any nearby hostile mobs. Dies after 9 seconds.

- Brain Eater Spell. Removes a configurable amount of Experience to heal the player.

 

Enchantments:

- Soul Eater. Increases the amount of Soul Energy gathered when killing a mob with this enchantment.

 

 

Mobs:

- Fanatics, Zealots and Apostles. Much like Witches, they're not illagers but are still hostile and are subservient to the Tailless. Spawns at night in groups, can be disabled through config.

- Nethernal. Spawns when a meteor from Callers hits the ground or a mob. Attacks all non-Nether and Tailless mobs and burns mobs at close proximity. Has a chance of spawning a Scorch when attacked.

 

Blocks:

- Tailless Lightning Totem Head. When a Player enters its vicinity, summons a Lightning Trap on them. Lightning Traps would call a Lightning Bolt on them after a short period of time.

 

Future Plans:

- Make Wand Focuses Swappable.

 

- Properly implement Gold Touch Effect.

- Change Project to use Parchment.

- Improve Mobs

- Add a new way to obtain Blaze Cores.

- Give purpose to Padre and Mocking Effigies.

- Reveal the purpose of a certain Boss.
