MAGIC AND LOOT UPDATE

 

Fixes and Changes:

- Magical Items now use Soul Energy than durability!

- Totem of Souls now functions properly and can now store Soul Energy.

- Magical Items now have a Tooltip that specifies how much Soul Energy it needs to function.

- Fix crafting recipes for Vexing Wand and Staff of Vexations.

- Taverns and Profaned Towers now have loot in their chests!

- Blaze Cores now functions as an unbreakable Flint and Steel.

- Right-clicking on a Spawner with a Blaze Core turns it into a Blaze Spawner. Consumes Item at use.

- Change Textures for Vexing Wand and Dark Scrolls.

- Dark Scrolls now create Sounds and Particles when using.

- Protectors and related mobs can be removed/fired/dismissed using the new Termination Form.

- Added new message when Protector related mobs are fired using new item.

- Hexer Spawning and Totem of Souls related codes are modified to be Configurable (Config is still W.I.P and not available)

 

Additions:

- Soul Mechanics. Wands and Staffs now use Soul Energy instead of Durability. Soul Energy is collected when a player has a Totem of Souls in their hotbar and killed a mob. Certain mobs drop more Soul Energy than others!

(Wondered why illagers love to raid villagers a lot...)

 

- Biting Wands and Staffs of Endless Maws, two magical items that summons Evoker Fangs for the player. 

- Termination Forms. Crafted using four Red Dyes and a Paper. Right-clicking on a Hired Protector mob dismisses them instantly.

- New Textures for the Totem of Souls, relating to how full of Soul Energy it is.

- Two new Effects related to the Totem of Souls. 

(Say, doesn't the totem look familiar once it's full of Soul Energy?)

 

Future Plans:

- Add Config to the mod.

- More structures

- More Magical Staffs and Wands

- Add a new way to obtain Blaze Cores.

- Give purpose to Padre and Mocking Effigies (And therefore a proper incentive to hunt down Tailless mobs)

- Reveal the purpose of a certain Boss.
