A 1.12.2 port of Farmer's Delight. A cozy expansion to farming and cooking!

Description

Farmer's Delight Legacy is an unofficial 1.12.2 port of Farmer's Delight, aiming to be the equivalent of Farmer's Delight's 1.20.1 version.

Farmer's Delight Legacy is a mod that gently expands upon farming and cooking in Minecraft.

Using a simple cooking system and a few familiar ingredients, you'll be able to prepare a wide variety of hearty meals: from sandwiches to salads and stews, from beautiful desserts to mouth-watering feasts, no ingredient will be left behind in your kitchen!

It also introduces a rich set of utilities: a way to improve the very soil your crops grow in, a brand new kind of tool to scavenge resources with, cute decorations for your builds, and many blocks and items to help you on your adventure!

It's time to farm a little bit of everything!

πŸ“– Getting Started

Follow the advancements! Much of its progression is described through them. By default, press the (L) key to open the Advancements screen.

If you'd rather get a more straight-forward guide, we wrote a Getting Started to help you learn the basics!

πŸ”§ Mod Integration

  • Fluidlogged API--Allow rice to be planted in shallow water. Without this, it would have to be planted next to water, like sugar cane.
  • Oceanic Expanse--Use the kelp from this mod.
  • Sakura--Give the cherry cabinet a crafting recipe.
  • Unseen's Nether Backport--Use its Hoglin mob, and give the Warped Cabinet and Crimson Cabinet crafting recipes.
  • Future MC--Use many of its blocks and items.
  • Campfire--Use its campfire to craft the Stove. Otherwise, use a torch and charcoal as an alternative.
  • Raids Backport--Use its Pillager mob; otherwise, change the advancement for throwing a Rotten Tomato at a Pillager to throwing it at any hostile mob.
  • Village Names--The new village structures that are added will generate alongside the mod's villages.
  • Cherry_on_1.12.2--Give the cherry cabinet a crafting recipe.(Same as Sakura.)
  • Wandering Traders Backport--Use its Wandering Trader and add the same trades as Farmer's Delight.

One thing that must be said is that Farmer's Delight Legacy does not require these mods to run. However, sweet berries will be replaced with apples, kelp will be replaced with sugar cane, and so on. Therefore, it is recommended to also install the mods mentioned above.
