Initial Release

Farmer's Delight comes to Minecraft 1.6.4, 1.7.10, 1.8.9, and 1.12.2!

This initial beta introduces the core farming, cooking, food, and decoration systems from the original mod, adapted for classic Minecraft versions.

Farming

  • Added Cabbage, Tomato, Onion, and Rice crops.
  • Added naturally generating wild crops.
  • Added Rich Soil, Rich Farmland, Organic Compost, and Mushroom Colonies.
  • Added crop-specific growing and harvesting mechanics.
  • Added agricultural village features and new ways to obtain ingredients.

Cooking & Food

  • Added Cooking Pots with multi-ingredient recipes, serving containers, and meal storage.
  • Added Cutting Boards with tool processing and additional ingredient drops.
  • Added six-slot Stoves and placeable/handheld Skillets.
  • Added an extensive selection of foods, drinks, desserts, and prepared meals.
  • Added placeable pies and feasts with multiple servings.
  • Added Nourishment and Comfort food effects.
  • Added food containers, tooltips, and configurable effect displays.

Equipment & Decoration

  • Added four native knife tiers and the Backstabbing enchantment.
  • Added wooden Pantries, collection Baskets, and ingredient storage blocks.
  • Added Straw Bales, Tatami Mats, Canvas Rugs, and colored Canvas Signs.
  • Added climbable Ropes and bouncing Safety Nets.
  • Added Rotten Tomatoes, Skillet combat, and animal-feeding items.

Compatibility & Integration

  • Added support for Forge 1.6.4, 1.7.10, 1.8.9, and 1.12.2.
  • Added optional NEI/JEI integration with dedicated workstation recipe displays.
  • Added Cooking Pot recipe transfer support.
  • Added optional Modern Regen compatibility.
  • Adapted recipes, farming, combat, and world generation to older Minecraft mechanics.
  • Added achievements and advancements appropriate to each version.

Beta Notes

  • Some content requiring newer vanilla Minecraft features is unavailable on older versions.
  • Certain controls and interactions may differ depending on the Minecraft version.
  • This is an initial beta release. Bug reports and compatibility feedback are welcome.
