CHANGELOG | FANCYMENU v2.2.0
- Fabric: Lifted minimum required Konkrete version to v1.2.2
- Fabric: Official support for MC 1.17.1
- Added: New animation system
- The old system still works, but it's DEPRECATED now and will be REMOVED IN ~3 MONTHS
- Animations are now partly resource-pack-based
- No animation loading screen anymore when using the new animation system
- New system comes with an "Animation Maker" tool for easier animation pack making (Tool will be released later today or tomorrow)
- MC 1.12: Added setting to toggle pre-loading of animations of the new system (disabling this causes the animation to lag when rendered for the first time)
- Added: "Advanced Mode" option to enable some features that could harm or break the game if not correctly used (disabled by default)
- This will hide the "Custom GUIs" tab and the "Advanced" button from the customization menu bar by default (so people finally stop making custom GUIs instead of layouts)
- Added: Compatibility for upcoming mod
- Added: Support for old 1.7 skin format to the Player Entity element
- Added: Fabric: Support for Optifine (OptiFabric) (Experimental)
- Changed: Renamed "session-specific values" to "placeholder text values" so the name better fits its purpose
- Removed: "Don't show again" button from the popup that appears when trying to move an vanilla button without orientation
- Popup can still be disabled in the FancyMenu settings
- Fixed: Some popups of the editor using old purple color scheme for buttons instead of new one
- Fixed: Visual layout bugs when going from game loading screen (aka. splash screen) to normal menu
- Fixed: Buttons don't properly fade-in and stay at low opacity in some rare cases
- Fixed: MC 1.12: Hover textures and hover labels not working for the language button of the main menu
KNOWN ISSUES:
- MC 1.12: Animations loaded via the new system are a bit laggy the first time they get rendered when pre-loading is disabled (Sadly this can't be fixed, it's just how 1.12 works)
