v0.0.0-beta.6 - Revoking an advancement

Added

  • AdvancementHooks.revoke(player, advancementId[, criterion]): the counterpart of grant. Until now a mod could only ever hand an advancement to a player, never take one back.

Consumer mods that drive a guide book, a quest log or any other progress UI can now express "unlock A, and lock B in its place" — a flow that had no way to exist before. Clients that watch advancement state see the swap on the next sync packet, so a book entry's title can genuinely change even though the book format itself only supports static names.

Used by Majestic 0.0.0-beta.22: reading a journal page that arrives after its chapter was already read grants the replacement chapter and revokes the original.

Library mod, ships no content by itself. Used by Majestic and Arcane Towers.
