What's new
Expanded Inventory 2.1
Added
- Mouse-wheel scrolling and middle-click-drag fast scrolling in the Edit Mode drawer, plus a proper, proportionally-sized, click-and-drag scrollbar — everything in the drawer stays reachable at any GUI scale.
- JEI, REI, and EMI integration: exclusion zones so the recipe viewer never overlaps module or crafting panels, ghost-ingredient drag-and-drop into the crafting grid, and one-click recipe transfer.
- The Crafting Upgrade's 3x3 grid now works in other menus too — chests, furnaces, anvils, enchanting tables, and other mods' storage screens — not just your own inventory.
- A dedicated Crafting On / Crafting Off control in the drawer, so the crafting module can be hidden without removing the Crafting Upgrade item.
- Small "i" info buttons next to every drawer section (Module, Belt Upgrades, Module Color, Layout, Presets, Appearance) with a short explanation of what it does.
- Full Creative mode support: modules, Stack/Crafting Upgrade slots, and the crafting grid are now usable on every Creative inventory tab, not just the vanilla-preview one, with the Edit Mode drawer available there too.
- Sophisticated Backpacks compatibility: the crafting grid now integrates through Sophisticated's own official slot extension point, so it's a real, fully interactive grid (left/right click, shift-click, drag, tooltips) instead of a read-only preview.
Changed
- Edit Mode now activates automatically the first time you open the drawer in a session and stays on until the inventory closes; it no longer starts active by default. The separate top-of-screen Edit Mode and Modules On/Off buttons were removed in favor of the drawer's own Menu control.
- The Crafting module can now be disabled through multi-select, alongside regular modules.
Fixed
- Multi-select no longer keeps module 1 permanently marked as selected.
- Resolved a mixin conflict with FastWorkbench (and any other mod that redirects the same vanilla crafting-container construction call) that could crash the game on startup when both mods were installed together.
- Resolved a mixin conflict with backpack mods that redirect item pickup (the same class of issue affects mods like YZZ's Backpack) that could crash the game on startup when both mods were installed together.
- Fixed the crafting grid rendering incompletely (missing cells) in several situations, including Sophisticated Backpacks and Creative mode.
- Fixed drawer content being cut off by a couple of pixels at small GUI scales.
Preserved
- Mod ID and resource namespace:
expandedinventory - Existing belt, module, and upgrade item IDs and belt tier progression
- Existing belt storage, upgrades, colors, and saved layouts
- Server-authoritative item counts and synchronization
- Recipe-book duplication protection on the expanded crafting grid
