🔄 System & Core Updates

  • Data Components: Integrated Minecraft's new Data Component System for handling Tool XP and Levels 
  • Optimized Loading: Cleaned up the main class using FMLModLoadingContext to ensure stable mod initialization.

⚔️ Sword Evolution (The Slayer's Path)

  • Extended Level Cap: Now supports up to Level 15

Triple Threat Progression:

    • Levels 1-5: Focuses on Sharpness I-V

    • Levels 6-10: Focuses on Looting I-V 

    • Levels 11-15: Focuses on Fire Aspect I-V 

Mending is automatically granted at Level 14

 

⛏️ Tool Upgrades

  • Pickaxe Overhaul: Level limit increased to 20, allowing for Efficiency X at the final tier.
  • Hoe Specialization: Level 15 now unlocks the 3x3 Area Harvest ability (perfect for large farms).
  • Shovel Buffs: Progression path updated to include Efficiency X and high-tier Unbreaking.

Axe Refinement: Balanced path through Efficiency, Sharpness, and ultimate durability.

🎨 UI & Feedback

  • Evolution Notifications: Added Action Bar messages in English that trigger upon leveling up (e.g., "YOUR SWORD HAS EVOLVED TO LEVEL X!") [cite: 2026-01-18].
  • Dynamic Tooltips: Tool descriptions now clearly show current XP, Level, and the "Next Focus" of the tool.
  • Audio Feedback: Added the PLAYER_LEVELUP sound effect whenever a piece of gear evolves.
