Description
Update Note: April 23rd, 2026
I just want to take a moment to say thanks to all that have shown support for the progression of Ethereal Blasters 2. I am also honored to say as of a few days ago, Ethereal Blasters 2 was nominated under the Tech and Automation category for the Monthly Mod Theme Shelf! This a huge honor for me as it shows how much the community is loving this mod!
The Return of the Epic Lazer Gun Mod now with Brand New Mechanics, Effects, and Much Much More!
Ethereal Blasters 2 is a new mod-in-the-making developed by me, Beech11901! This Mod expands upon the Original Ethereal Blasters mod by bring many new features such as:
8 New Blasters, Each with Unique Models!
Ethereal Blasters 2 now features 8 new blaster weapons that are part of a new classification system:
Snipes: Snipes are high precision, fair damage dealing blasters that have a "fair" reload time. They are essentially the "default blasters" of this mod, but just because they are the default doesn't mean they are anything close to being basic! Snipes include 2 new blasters which are:
Thunderstrike: Thunderstrike is a brand new blaster in EB2 that is formed from the Element of Copper! This electrifying weapon is guarenteed to leave any foe fearing for the storm to come! Thunderstrike deals 13 points of damage, and has a reload time of 24 ticks.
The Vindicator: The Vindicator is the fallen brethren of the Snipes, swearing to avenge all those who have wronged its master who weilds it! This verdant new blaster will help dominate in the lines of battle wherever you may go! The Vindicator deals 12.5 points of damage, and has a reload time of 22 ticks.
Shotblasters: Shotblasters are a unique middle ground blaster that behaves similar to a shotgun! These blasters will fire a spray of bullets rather than one allowing for more hit points of contact over a spread out area! While the Shotblasters deal less damage than the snipes, they also reload faster allowing for balance! There are two new Shotblasters added within this class which include:
Sonorous Shotblaster: The Sonorous Shotblaster is the Quartz variant within the Shotblaster Class. This brilliant white blaster has the ability to shoot multiple projectiles allowing for a spead out area in which multiple enemies can be affected by a single shot! The Sonorous Shotblaster deals 10 points of damage and has a reload time of 18 ticks.
Resonant Shotblaster: The Resonant Shotblaster is the "big brother" to the Sonorous Shotblaster! This resonating weapon also has the ability to shoot multiple projectiles towards your enemies but deals more damage and can fire even faster! The Resonant Shotblaster deals 11.5 points of damage and has a reload time of 16 ticks.
Stolis: Stolis are small, handheld blasters that are able to deal small amount of damage but have extremely fast reloading times, making them useful in close combat where other blasters would fail! The two Stoli Blasters within this class include:
Piglin Deadshot: Said to be weilded long ago by the very first civilzations of the Piglin Race, this handheld blaster was able to dominate any enemy within the battlefeilds of the Nether. However, due to the danger this weapon presented to the Ancient Builders, they revoked the Piglin's ability to weild this weapon, losing its technology to the hands of time. The Piglin Deadshot deals 6.5 points of damage and has a reload time of 4 ticks.
Golem's Fist: The Golem's Fist was another ancient handheld blaster used by the very first Villager Guards within the Villager Race! This Blaster was able to keep any Illager from being able to take down a local Village. However, long ago, the Arch Evoker casted a spell upon the Villager Race causing them to lose the ability to use their hands, making the Golem's Fist useless on the Battlefeild. The Golem's Fist deals 7 points of damage and has a reload time of 8 ticks.
Heavies: Heavy Blasters are the final class of Blaster Weapons, and as their name suggests, they are weapons that deal high amounts of damage, but take a much longer time to reload than any of the other classes of Blasters. There are two Heavy Blasters within the class which include:
DMND-246: The DMND-246 is a unique heavy-type Blaster that is able to harness the power of Minecraft's most enigmatic and important item, the Diamond of course! This heavy-hitter is able to cause wide-scale, high damage to anyone who tries to oppose you! The DMND-246 deals 15 points of damage, and has a reload time of 36 ticks.
RS-11 Pulsimeter: The Ethereal Weaponsmith has been tinkering with a new prototype of Blaster that he thinks you shoud try, the RS-11 Pulsimeter of course! This new Blaster Resembles that of something similar to a handheld Railgun (Because who wouldn't want a Redstone-Powered Railgun?). The RS-11 Pulsimeter deals 17.5 points of damage, and has a reload time of 48 ticks.

Many New Types of Blocks and Items:
In Ethereal Blasters 2, there are a total of 8 Normal Blocks and 2 Functional Blocks. The Normal Blocks include:
- Ethereal Debris
- Etherion Block
- Arcanite Block
- Ultrinium Block
- Corestone Ore
- Deepslate Corestone Ore
- Corestone Dust Sack
- Arcan Sack

While I won't go into detail of every Block that is new within this mod, there will be full descriptions of each block in the (COMING SOON) official wiki where you'll be able to learn how each block is crafted/obtained!
However, the two new functional blocks of this mod are workstations which include the Forging Station and the Elemental Infuser! Both essential blocks to progressing within the mod!
Forging Station: The Forging Station is a new workstation block that allows for the creation of the new Blaster Weapons! In the Block's GUI you will notice a strange new way of crafting, a Plus-shaped crafting grid with an additional slot, and an output slot! The Plus part is where the main components go, and then the additional spot is where your smithing template goes! When all Crafting Components are added correctly the Forging Station will yeild 1 new blaster to the Player! Currently, there are 8 recipes for the 8 current blasters within the mod, but future versions will include more upgrades and recipes!

Elemental Infuser: The Elemental Infuser is a new workstation block that allows the creation of many essential components of the mod such as: Elemental Cores, Alloy Ingots, Arcan, Music Discs, etc.! The Elemental Infuser works with 4 outside input slots and 1 center output slot, when the required items to craft something in the infuser is assembled correctly, the Infuser will turn on for 100 ticks and then put out the newly crafted item!

Ethereal Blasters 2 also features 36 brand new items which includes: Ingots, Sheets, Nuggets, Tools, a Brand New Music Disc, Elemental Cores, etc.! As said previously with the blocks, I will not go into detail about every item, but the wiki will cover what each of these items does, is needed for, and how they are obtained!

Ethereal Blasters 2 was created originally by me (Beech11901) as a way to improve upon the original Ethereal Blasters mod. This was a brand new challenge to me as this mod was created using Intellij instead of MCreator so there were and still are many things I am learning as a fairly new mod developer still. This page may seem fairly lack luster as of right now, but I will continue to update this mods page beyond the expectations that was brought when I first released Ethereal Blasters!
Again, please be patient with me as this mod is in VERY early development and many of the mod items, blocks, etc. do not have a practical function yet! This is mainly for tracking issues, recommendations, etc. I will soon have a functioning GitHub page as well but for now, please place all comments in the comments section of this mod!
(Again) Final Notes about this Mod
Ethereal Blasters 2 is a mod developed by Beech11901 (Me) and is inspired off a few different mods/concepts that helped me to start making this project. The inspiration and credits of creating this mod go to TACZ Guns Mod, Ars Nouveau, Marium's Souls-like Weaponry, and Simply Swords. These are all fantastic projects and I appreciate the mod developers creating such amazing projects within the CurseForge community.
Finally, if you would like to Port this mod, or make Mod Compats, I am completely fine with this, but please be sure to message me first and ask if it is okay to make a modified version of this mod!
