Description
Equipment Wards is a Forge mod adding new protective enchantments that prevent items from being destroyed by certain damage sources. Dying can be punishing in Minecraft and its impacts can't often be fully negated. Netherite tools and armour are usefully already protected from fire and lava, but what about your trusty enchanted bow? Now, the lengths you went to to enchant it will not be in vain.
To add one of the wards to an item you will need to find a Ward Scroll, and apply it using the anvil in the same way you would an enchanted book. The scrolls can be found as part of various chest loot.
The wards and the damage sources they protect against are listed below:
- Ward of Fire: Fire and lava
- Ward of Lightning: Lightning bolts
- Ward of Destruction: Explosions and cacti
Most (but not all) overworld structures can rarely hold a scroll containing a destruction or lightning ward.
