1.1.0 - Animation Update!

Hi guys! I know it took a long time to get this update going and i'm sorry for that. I got swept away by various real life obligations that took me away from this. The long awaited v1.1.0 is FINALLY HERE and we can check together some of the features I've included in this version

Major features:

  • Added two animations that will trigger once your character stamina reaches

Animation has been the main feature I wanted to add to this mod since I rewrote this to finally remove that ugly slow attack that usually happened when you ended up without stamina. Now you'll be slowed and a tired walk animation will happen when your stamina reaches 0 while walking and a Tired idle when your stamina reaches 0 and you're not moving. These two animations are a great starting point to expand the mod and bring it into new highs! We obviously still miss a lot of animation and I'll make a list for everyone that feels kind enough to give me one made by them.

  • API for mod creators!

Ever since the first day I wanted to make a mod that could have been easily implemented by other mod makers if they wanted to add the Stamina Consumption Mechanic in their own mod. To allow these I created two methods that can be used by Modders to add their own WeaponCategory stamina cost or Custom Animation cost to the mod. I'll make a guide on how to do it in the Readme File!

  • Datapacks and Configurations for Modpack Makers

What if another modder doesnt want to create an implementation for this mod but you still want to add stamina consumption for weapons that are from other mods? Don't worry, I gotch u bros! I added an implementation that will allow you to make a Datapack where you can specify Weapon Categories from other mods and assign them a Stamina cost value on the go! I'm also working on making it a configurable param in the config file of the mod in order for you to add them in a faster and more manageable way! Same as for the API i'll make a tutorial on how to do it on the Readme file as well! Also, since someone requested it... If you check the config file you'll notice a similiar feature for custom animations, if you'd ever like to adjust the stamina consumption of the single animations!

Minor Features:

  • EVEN MORE CONFIGURATIONS?!?!

Since I listen to some of your requests (at least, those that do not violate my ideals for this mod) I added a configurable param that will allow you to disable the stamina consumption scaling on damage for those modpacks where weapon damage reaches high numbers!

Bugfixes and new bugs:

-Fixed the bug on shield that would allow the use of the shield whilst being without stamina.

-Stamina at 0 effects are present for some seconds when a player joins the world/server.

-A single tick of the animation of attack will happen even if stamina reaches 0 if mouse is spammed... No Damage will be done though
