Welcome to the Pillage and Plunder update! This update adds every illager (except the Illusioner) into the mod! These mobs have some similarities, so I'll list everything they have in common first and then list their individual powers.

Shared Powers:

  • Outpost (Pillager/Ravager): You spawn in a Pillager Outpost.
  • Home, Sweet Home (Evoker/Vindicator): You spawn in a Woodland Mansion.
  • Ravager Rider (-Ravager): You can mount ravagers and ride them like a pig with a carrot on a stick.
  • Enemy of the Village: Iron Golems attack you.
  • Plunder: Villagers drop emeralds on death and a chance at other items depending on their profession. Currently, only the Librarian and Armorer have special drops. I plan to add more in future updates.
  • Raid Captain: You can give and take away Bad Omen to and from yourself by pressing [Primary] while holding an axe.
  • Heart of Stone (-Ravager): You have 12 hearts.
  • Illager: You are part of the Illager mob group.
  • Neutral Ground

Pillager:

  • Sharp Shooter: You spawn with a crossbow enchanted with infinity and a stack of arrows.

Vindicator:

  • Johnny: You spawn with an iron axe.
  • Strong like Bull: You are really strong. You deal 5 damage barehanded.

Evoker:

  • Spellcasting: You have access to three spells. They each have their own cooldown, but after each cast, there is also a cooldown for casting any other spell.
    • Fangs: By pressing [Primary], you can summon a line of fangs in the direction you are looking. Just step back when you do or you'll get snapped yourself! (That's not a joke, literally just take 2 steps back when you push the button and you'll be fine.) If you sneak, you summon them in a circle around you.
    • Summon Vexes: You can summon 3 vexes with [Secondary].
    • Wololo: You can change the color of a blue sheep to red with [Load Toolbar Activator]. The default for this button is X.
  • Totem Bearer: When you die, you drop a totem of undying.

Ravager:

  • Strong Arms (Origins): You can break natural stone with your fists.
  • Stocky: You have 50 hearts.
  • No Hands
  • Unwieldy
  • Roar: You roar, doing an AoE knockback attack that does damage. This has a cooldown.
  • Strong Jaw: Your attacks do significant damage and knockback. You do less damage while holding items.
  • Viking: Instead of swords, helmets increase your damage.
  • Bulky: You resist knockback (75% in fact).

Patch Notes (this ones a doozy):

  • Added night vision to Bat
  • Added Origins: Fragile back to the Arachnid
  • Added a new power to Nocturnal mobs that allows them to sleep during the day. This is not affected by how many people are on a server.
  • Added Ultra Instinct to Enderman, which teleports them to a random nearby location when hit.
  • Adjusted Control Mount movement speed to not be stupidly fast when jumping forward. It’s still janky.
  • Made Snowball ability key able to be held down
  • Added Cave Spider to Bone Zone mob repellent.
  • Increased Warden damage. A lot. The base for a player is 1. A Warden’s is 30. The skin already multiplied it by 3. Next drop will be a damage overhaul.
  • Made Warden immune to knockback
  • Mobs are now listed by their hostility (passive, neutral, hostile) instead of their actual gameplay impact.
  • Modified Enderman model to have a mouth. You will not need to redownload the skin.
  • Added screaming animation to Enderman model.
  • Modified Warden Model metadata (there was a lot of scaling stuff in there that shouldn’t be there)
  • Plans to make a mod documentation have been started.
