Enhanced Resources

Enhanced Resources is a 1.12.2 forge mod that adds new ore to all three dimensions that can all be crafted into armour and tools with special abilities.

Travel to the nether to find vulcanium....a mineral that will protect you from the harsh heat of the nether and let you walk atop lava as if it were solid ground. It's tools auto-smelt blocks and auto-cook meats.

Look into the clouds to find a resource that gives you the power of flight and the ability to harness lightning.

This mod adds a little bit of variety to the armour and weapon selection in game, which is good both for a vanilla+ experience and a modded gameplay as it will pair well against harder mobs and challenges.

This mod is still a work in progress.

Blatium

Blatium is an overworld resource stronger and rarer than diamond

Indranium

Indranium is an overworld resource found in custom clouds high above the ground. Although hard to get to, this resource is well worth it.

A full set of armour gives you fall damage immunity and the power of flight.

The sword allows you to summon lightning with a right click.

The rest of the tools all have silk touch.

Vulcanium

Found in the nether, this resource is very special.

Total fire protection is given with a full armor set.

The sword has fire aspect and will auto-cook any meat from animals.

The tools all have auto-smelting capabilities. Shovels can turn clay into bricks and sand into glass. The axe can turn logs into charcoal. The pickaxe can smelt all ores (and cobblestone!)

Peractio
This is a resource found in the end dimension. Currently it has no special abilities.
