Enchanted Outlines — Player Changelog
v0.1.9 (2026-08-16) 🌟
✨ GeckoLib 4 & AzureLib Gear Outlines — Now Supported!
- Weapons, staves, tools, and armor from mods like Hazen 'N Stuff now get their proper enchanted outlines!
- No more invisible outlines or wrong vanilla armor shapes on these custom 3D models.
- Both GeckoLib 4 and AzureLib (its fork) items & armor are fully covered.
🐛 Bug Fixes
Fixed: Flat item outlines showing as solid squares
- Some modded flat items (swords, tools) were rendering their outline as a big colored square instead of following the actual item shape.
- Now outlines perfectly trace the item's silhouette, even for custom mod textures.
Fixed: 3D bone outlines now follow texture shape
- Geo-model gear (weapons, armor) now only outlines the parts that actually have pixels on the texture.
- Transparent parts (like decorative halos with no texture data) no longer get random outlines.
- The outline hugs the actual weapon/armor shape — no more geometric blob outlines.
📚 Dev Notes
- Updated internal knowledge base with new rendering rules for future development.
v0.1.8 (2026-08-16) 🎛️
✨ Item Whitelist & Blacklist — Now with Wildcards!
- New whitelist config:
enabledItems— only items in this list will get outlines. Leave empty to enable all (default behavior). - Blacklist
disabledItemsupgraded with the same wildcard power. - Supports patterns like:
minecraft:*→ all vanilla itemsminecraft:di*→ all items starting with "di" (diamond sword, diamond pickaxe, etc.)- Exact IDs still work as before (backward compatible!)
- Filtering order: Whitelist first → Blacklist second → Programmatic colors last.
- All outline types affected: GUI, hand-held, armor, elytra, and thrown items.
