I contacted the original creator, u/Fun_Philosophy5391 (Rame), and received permission to use the model. This project is a complete visual and functional overhaul of the Ellie Dweller, aiming to bring a higher‑quality, more immersive, and more polished experience to players while still respecting the original concept.
The Ellie Dweller now features a fully updated 3D model with improved proportions, refined shapes, and more detailed geometry. This new model gives the creature a more modern and stylized appearance, making it stand out visually and blend better with updated textures and animations.
Along with the improved model, the Ellie Dweller has received new custom sounds specifically designed to match its behavior, personality, and presence in the world. These new audio elements give the creature a deeper atmosphere and make encounters feel more alive and engaging.
The animations have also been completely reworked and enhanced. The updated animation set includes smoother walking, running, and idle movements, plus more expressive reactions and transitions that fit perfectly with the new model. These improvements help the Ellie Dweller feel natural and believable, greatly enhancing immersion.
