1.4.1: Dawn over the Hollow fixes
Fixes
- Spirits and Ondrel appear where you are. Spirits of the Order and Pilgrim Ondrel used to appear on the highest block above you. At the Deep Road's underground Waystations they landed on the surface far overhead, and in Castle Nocturne on the roofs. They now appear on solid ground near your own height, in the hall or tunnel you're in.
- The Wayfinders' Lodge stays clear of Castle Nocturne. Depending on how the castle is turned in a world, the Lodge could be built overlapping its walls. It now checks where the castle actually stands and steps back until it's clear. The "at the castle" check for the Order's spirits and Ondrel's last page also uses the castle's real outline.
- Long Night echoes rise beyond the altar. An echo used to appear partly inside the floor and on the player's side of the altar, sometimes right behind them. It now rises on the far side of the altar, on a clear spot big enough for it.
- A forgotten echo no longer blocks the altar. If nobody is within 48 blocks of an echo for five minutes, it fades away, so the altar can call another.
- Echoes no longer drop the guardians' relics. The Starcaller, Delver's Pick, Corvane's Warblade, Crown of Selenar and Pilgrim's Staff come only from the guardians themselves. Echoes still drop their Regalia piece, Star Fragments and their usual loot.
- Starlight Gliders belong to whoever tamed them. Only the player who tamed a Glider can ride it. A Glider tamed before 1.4.1 belongs to the first player who rides it.
- Guardian music no longer retries every tick when the game can't start the track (for example when every sound channel is busy). It waits a few seconds before trying again.
- No subtitle for guardian music, matching Minecraft's own music.
- Region events are tidied up. A player's event is now forgotten when they log out or leave the Hollow, instead of being kept until they come back.
