Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
ECreate 0.8.0 — Minecraft 1.20.1
ECreate now includes three connected custom dimensions, themed Minecraft blocks and items, new mobs, endgame raid bosses, expanded equipment, custom music, and a redesigned guidebook.
Added the Ecreate Realm. A separate Overworld-style dimension featuring Ecreate terrain, biomes, trees, plants, structures, and mobs. It supports normal day and night cycles, weather, and working beds.
Added the Ecreate Nether. Nether portals entered from the Ecreate Realm now lead to its own Nether dimension. It contains themed terrain, biomes, structures, resources, and mobs, with normal 8:1 portal travel scaling.
Added the Ecreate End. Realm stronghold portals lead to a separate End dimension with themed islands, End biomes, End cities, and an Ecreate Ender Dragon. Eyes of Ender locate Realm strongholds.
Independent End progression. The Ecreate End saves its own dragon fight, gateways, and exit portal progress. Defeating its dragon opens its exit, and four End Crystals can start the dragon respawn ritual. The original Minecraft End remains separate.
Added Ecreate Portal Frames and the Realm Igniter. Both can be crafted using materials available in the Overworld. Realm portals support different frame sizes and both orientations, with cooldowns and automatic collapse when their frames break.
Improved portal safety. Generated Realm portals appear above surrounding terrain with a solid, dry platform and clear exits. Buried or blocked destination portals are skipped. End arrivals use safe platforms, and return travel supports valid Realm beds or safe surface locations.
Added 986 themed counterparts to vanilla player and world blocks. These have separate Ecreate registry IDs and do not replace vanilla blocks. The collection includes terrain, wood, vegetation, glass, colored building materials, and functional blocks.
Preserved functional block behavior. Supported themed furnaces, chests, doors, redstone components, pistons, and other utilities retain their Minecraft functions. Related interactions include inventories, crop growth, stripping logs, tilling soil, creating paths, and composting.
Expanded building recipes and creative tabs. Added themed crafting, cooking, stonecutting, smithing, and conversion recipes. New creative tabs organize terrain, wood, plants, colored blocks, and functional blocks.
Added 375 additional themed vanilla items. The collection includes equipment, food, dyes, potions, buckets, utility items, music discs, and spawn eggs. Supported brewing, container, dye, and bucket behavior is preserved.
Improved themed equipment. Themed tools have twice the durability, 25% faster mining, increased attack damage, and better enchantability. Themed armor gains durability, protection, toughness, knockback resistance, and enchantability. Supported utility equipment and horse armor also receive upgrades.
Ecreate saplings now grow Ecreate trees. Oak, birch, spruce, jungle, acacia, dark oak, cherry, and mangrove trees generate using matching themed blocks, including appropriate logs, leaves, roots, vines, and decorations. Supported large-tree sapling arrangements still work.
Expanded dimension resources. Existing corrupted ores and storage blocks are reused wherever they match. Added missing resource support, including Corrupted Copper Ore and Ecreate Raw Copper. The Realm provides more accessible resources through increased ore generation.
Added 79 themed living mob types. These cover animals, monsters, villagers, golems, and major Minecraft bosses. They have separate entity IDs and custom textures while retaining supported vanilla models, AI, and behavior.
Added 79 themed spawn eggs. The collection includes Giant and Illusioner eggs, with support for dispensers and spawners.
Added themed mob drops and related interactions. Supported breeding, fish buckets, villager trades, fishing, and loot now work with the themed content. Original vanilla mobs remain available.
Connected themed drops to existing progression recipes. Matching Ecreate ingredients can now replace vanilla ingredients in original EasyCreate crafting, smithing, and Create processing recipes. Mixed vanilla and themed inputs are supported. Recipe costs, heat requirements, and output amounts remain intact.
Improved King weapon and tool appearances. The King Sword, Pickaxe, Battle Axe, Shovel, and Hoe now have clearer Minecraft-style silhouettes, stronger grips, and cleaner detailing. They use 64×64 textures with native Minecraft item models.
Turned the King Axe into a battle axe. It now has a double-headed design matching the King equipment style.
Added the King Bow, King Shield, and King Totem. The bow includes matching drawing stages, the shield has correctly aligned textures, and the totem can rescue its holder from lethal damage and restore full health.
Added three endgame raid bosses. Each has a summoning sigil, persistent encounter, boss bar, multiple phases, unique attacks, and progression rewards.
| Boss | Base solo health | Phases | Music |
|---|---|---|---|
| Kharvex, the Living Forge | 3,600 | 3 | Heart of the Iron Furnace |
| Vaelkor, the Gearbound King | 7,200 | 3 | The Crown That Never Kneels |
| Nullovar, the Infinity Devourer | 14,400 | 4 | When Infinity Breaks |
Expanded raid mechanics. Added 28 primary attacks alongside additional encounter effects. Battles include attack warnings, particles, sounds, arena hazards, support enemies, and breakable mechanisms. Boss health scales with participating players, and abandoned encounters clean themselves up.
Kharvex’s forge encounter. Features hammer attacks, piston charges, furnace breath, chains, drones, magnetic effects, and exposed-core mechanics.
Vaelkor’s royal encounter. Features weapon combos, orbiting blades, Gearbound Knights, Royal Echoes, crown mechanisms, and execution attacks.
Nullovar’s infinity encounter. Features erasure beams, gravity hazards, temporal attacks, siphoning conduits, and Reality Fracture mechanics that challenge the God armor’s ordinary defenses.
Temporary boss models. The bosses currently use customized vanilla models until dedicated custom models are ready.
Added custom boss music and collectible discs. All three supplied tracks are included as battle music and matching music discs, with track credits and corrected durations.
Changed music volume controls. Boss battle music and music discs now follow the Jukebox/Note Blocks volume slider.
Added unique water and lava appearances. All three Ecreate dimensions use animated violet water and violet lava with gold highlights. Still, flowing, and water-overlay textures are included. Fluids retain normal bucket, swimming, burning, cooling, and Create compatibility; vanilla dimensions keep their original appearance.
Added and redesigned the Ecreate Codex. The custom guidebook covers progression, equipment, blocks, items, mobs, bosses, music, and dimensions. It now includes an illustrated home screen, chapter cards, a clearer sidebar, search, saved bookmarks, browsing history, and keyboard shortcuts.
Expanded Codex recipe information. Added Info, Recipes, and Uses views; clickable ingredients and results; large crafting layouts; smithing recipes; and Create processing details such as heat, time, fluids, and output chances. Recipes come from the running world so modpack recipe changes can appear in the book. The Codex currently contains 1,566 entries.
Added 24 more visible advancements. New goals cover equipment progression, boss summoning and victories, collections, encounter objectives, and King Totem rescues, bringing the visible progression collection to 30 advancements.
Fixed rendering and travel problems. Corrected the themed donkey crash and related horse and piglin renderer lookups. Improved portal destination selection, safe arrival placement, dimension transfer handling, and encounter recovery after saving and reloading.
The current release contains 1,014 registered blocks, 1,323 registered items including block items, 2,496 recipes, and 2,014 textures.
Development validation passed 84 dedicated-server tests, 158 mob rendering checks, and 7 Codex interface scenarios. Full modpack playtesting remains to be completed.
