What's new

Added

  • Cloth Config compatibility layer (com.frikinjay.dungeonconfig.compat.cloth): source-compatible stand-ins for AutoConfig, ConfigData, ConfigHolder, the @Config / @ConfigEntry annotations and the Jankson, Gson and Toml4j serializers. Migrating an existing Cloth Config class is an import change.
  • NightConfig compatibility layer (com.frikinjay.dungeonconfig.compat.nightconfig): stand-ins for CommentedFileConfig, FileConfig and ConfigSpec. Spec definitions become typed options with sliders, dropdowns and validation on the settings screen.
  • Automatic settings migration: migrateFrom(...) and migrateKey(...) import a mod's previous config file (NeoForge or Forge TOML, Cloth Config JSON5 or JSON) the first time Dungeon Config runs. The original file is preserved as <name>.migrated.

Fixed

  • Entries registered after load() now pick up their saved value instead of keeping the default.
  • Lists and objects in config files are now indented consistently under their key.

Minecraft 1.20.1

  • First release for Minecraft 1.20.1 on Fabric and Forge. NeoForge 47.1 loads the Forge build.
