What's new
Dragon Forge - Modifiers — Changes since 1.3.5
Visual overhaul: redesigned forge model, improved skull joins and textures, glowing details, and new polish icons.
Wild Cards: randomly strengthen or weaken an existing non-Mythical modifier, up to three steps either way. Includes twin-rune artwork and +/− indicators.
Precise Polish Remover: choose which modifier to remove.
New abilities: Hungering Edge gains power through kills, up to +50%; Crimson Wound adds bleeding; Riftfang provides a ground or airborne sword dash of up to 10 blocks.
New bow modifiers: Wyrmseeker adds homing arrows; Twinshot fires a vertical arrow pair. Both can appear on the same weapon.
Equipment limits: five modifier slots maximum for new equipment and one Mythical modifier. Existing saved equipment is preserved.
Better balancing: adjusted Legendary effects and Mythical abilities, added more negative modifiers, and increased negative roll chances. Legendary defaults to 30%.
Modifier cleanup: overlapping modifiers retired from new rolls, existing rolls preserved, Fortune renamed Fortune’s Favor, and tier numbers removed from modifier names.
Recipe changes: more expensive forge, higher-tier polishes and slot cores. Rare Polish uses blaze rods; Wild Cards uses a Mythical Fragment.
Improved UI: Details opens first, polishing preserves the selected tab, possible modifiers are browsable, and costs and coloured tooltips are more compact.
Customization: datapack-defined modifiers and optional support for other mods’ attributes. Minecraft 1.12.2 uses configuration JSON.
Fixes: improved enchantment stacking, projectile behaviour, ability syncing, protection compatibility, performance and stability.
