Introduction:

When our wolves or cats die, there's often not much to do to remember them. Creating a statue or memorial is really the best option in vanilla Minecraft and that doesn't feel too sentimental. There is nothing that belongs to the animal that we can keep knowing it was theirs. The goal of this mod is to let players give their pets something sentimental that may be returned when they're killed. Introducing, collars and tags!

The Collar:

Used to instantly tame a wolf or cat (compared to bones which have a 33% chance) and set its collar colour to that of the item. Much like leather armour, these collars can be coloured with any combination of dye in the game to create a custom colour. Only one collar can be put on a pet at a time but they can be switched if the player decides to change its colour. If the collar is named, much like a nametag, the pet will be renamed.

Collar Tag:

Collar tags will drop if (and only if) a pet with a collar is killed. This may be collected and used to remember your pets post-mortem.
