Change Log 0.2.2

Added

  • Mercenary Hiring — Managed NPCs can now be made hireable for a chosen item cost and contract duration.
  • Mercenary Core — Added a dedicated item for configuring hiring costs, contract time, recall time, summon time, and responses to attacks from the employer.
  • Hire Confirmation — Players can review the price, duration, remaining time, available slots, and contract conditions before confirming a hire.
  • Persistent Contracts — Hired mercenaries and their remaining contract time are preserved when the world is saved and reopened.
  • Mercenary Command HUD — Hold the mercenary status key to view hired mercenaries, health, distance, equipment, remaining time, current orders, and deployment status.
  • Individual and Group Orders — Command one, selected, or all mercenaries to Follow, Form Up, Hold Position, Regroup, Hold Fire, Fire at Will, use a Defensive or Aggressive Posture, Summon, Recall, or end their contract.
  • Front and Rear Formations — Mercenaries can maintain ordered positions in front of or behind their employer.
  • Summon and Recall — Mercenaries can be stored and summoned again later. Contract time pauses while they are stored.
  • Employer Attack Rules — Each mercenary can tolerate a chosen number of attacks before spreading faction hostility or automatically ending the contract.
  • Faction Defense — NPCs can be configured to help nearby members of their own faction when they are attacked.
  • Suppression Fire — NPCs can continue firing briefly toward the last visible position of a recently lost target.
  • Combat Cover — NPCs can seek cover while reloading, after taking heavy or repeated damage, or when their health becomes low.
  • Cover Customization — Cover distance, movement speed, hold time, cooldown, action duration, and peek count can be configured for each NPC.
  • Grenade Reactions — NPCs can take cover from nearby LR Tactical fragmentation grenades without forgetting their current enemy.
  • Clone and Soul Stone Rerolls — NPCs created from CustomNPCs clones or Soul Stones can reroll enabled weapon, skin, and armor pools when spawned.
  • Scaled Mercenary Interfaces — Mercenary screens and the command HUD now fit different GUI scales, keep buttons and hit boxes aligned, and wrap long tooltips inside the screen.
  • New Visuals and Translations — Added the Mercenary Core icon and completed the new 0.2.2 mercenary text for all five included languages.

Changed

  • Patrol Wait Time — The patrol wait setting is now entered in seconds instead of Minecraft ticks.
  • NPC Combat Settings — Added clear configuration sections for Faction Defense, Suppression Fire, and Combat Cover.
  • NPC Core Appearance — Updated the TACZ NPC Core icon and added its missing translated item name.

Fixed

  • Fixed Hostile Factions Being Ignored With Empty Targets — Managed CustomNPCs now recognize enemies from their faction settings even when no manual Targets entries are configured. Neutral NPCs and players remain ignored.
  • Fixed Alert Icons Remaining On Screen — Alert indicators now clear automatically if their normal clear update is missed.
  • Fixed CustomNPCs Tools Being Blocked — CustomNPCs interaction items now keep their normal right-click behavior on NPCs.
