i feel like minecraft wild wolves are not a treath and don't feel like real wolves, they don't feel like true hunters quick and strong enough who can see their prey from far away; So this mod just add the hostile dire wolf wich is a true hunter that can see players from far away and have fast movements, not faster than the player but fast enough to give you a tense run or fight, they spawn in groups during the night, sometimes they see you before you see them.
to increase the immersion of wild dangerous wolves at night i recommend using this mod wich add some ambient sounds like wolves howling in the night
