USE 'JUST ENOUGH ITEMS (JEI)' FOR RECIPES
Descension is a content mod that focuses on enhancing the vanilla gameplay along with introducing new and unique twists and items to make the experience all the more interesting.
Notable features of this mod consist of:
- New vanilla weapon types like battleaxes, daggers, greatswords, and spears.
- New tier of toolset and armor.
- Coins and a coin press used as a new way of currency among players.
- A weapon named 'Obedience' (only obtained through creative currently) that adds a unique twist to multiplayer, allowing players to permanently remove a heart from any player hit with the sword.
- New building blocks to spice up your housing.
- A new leveling system using 'soul points' allowing players to level up various attributes and unlock unique abilities at max level.
Planned features to be added:
- Many more tiers of toolsets and armor varying from early-game to post-enderdragon.
- Staves, spells, and magic that can be used in many ways to allow players to play as a powerful wizard.
- New mobs to greet or battle.
- A new terrifying dimension with it's own backstory and mysteries waiting to be discovered.
Much more will be added as ideas come to me. This mod is very fresh and still has a lot to be worked on in the future. Stay tuned!

Is this mod compatible with Better Combat?
Partially, yes. Only weapons that contain a keyword like 'dagger' or 'spear' in the name of the weapon work as of now.
Does this mod need to be on both the client and server?
Yes, it needs to be on both.
When will there be a port to an older/newer version?
Older versions than 1.20.1 will likely never see a release, however newer versions will receive an update whenever I feel the update becomes popular enough and I have the time to do so.
