Cooking for Blockheads compat mod support

Description

I. Core Modification Content

To enhance the mod experience, multiple adjustments have been made to the original mod, specifically:

  1. New Wooden Variant Blocks: Added wooden versions for all multiblock kitchen blocks, supporting all vanilla wood types in Minecraft (such as oak, birch, spruce, etc.) to adapt to different architectural styles.
  2. Texture and Model Optimization:
    • Adjusted some original textures to improve visual consistency;
    • Remodeled the oven to give it an appearance closer to a real stove;
    • Items on top of the oven now use 3D models to enhance three-dimensionality and detail presentation.

II. Inspiration Source and Authorization Notes

  1. Texture Reference and Authorization: Some textures in this modification are inspired by the mod Farmers Delight. Since there is a lack of similar-style mods for version 1.12, its design ideas were referenced. The use of relevant textures has obtained direct authorization from Vectorwing, the author of Farmers Delight .
  2. Mod Derivative Authorization: This work is modified based on the Cooking for Blockheads mod and has obtained explicit authorization from BlayTheNinth, the original author, allowing derivative creation and distribution . The authorization is granted under the MIT License.

III. Usage Instructions and Restrictions

  • Permitted Usage Scenarios: You are welcome to include this derivative mod in your modpack without additional authorization applications.
  • Version Restriction: This derivative mod is developed exclusively for version 1.12 and will not be ported to other game versions. Please do not request version porting. Additionally, cross-version porting is legally prohibited due to restrictions in the original mod’s license.

IV. Acknowledgments

Thanks to BlayTheNinth for creating the Cooking for Blockheads mod and allowing derivative creation, and to Vectorwing for authorizing the use of texture resources from Farmers Delight, which provided crucial support for this derivative work.
