DeepNull Reforged 4.2.0

This release includes all changes since 4.1.3.

Pickup, Controls, and Quality of Life

  • Added a new global Null auto-pickup toggle that is stored per-player and enforced server-side.
  • Added a 10 second pickup delay for player-thrown items so DeepNulls no longer immediately re-absorb items tossed with normal drop actions, including rapid throw paths.
  • Added control-menu remapping entries for DeepNull UI mouse actions so primary, secondary, and tertiary UI buttons can be rebound.
  • Added a new Connections Filter Upgrade preset for common pipes, cables, ducts, conduits, buses, tunnels, connectors, and similar transport parts.

DampNull and Dock Fixes

  • Fixed docked DampNulls so they can be right-clicked with fluid containers again.
  • Fixed Chemical-upgraded DampNulls so they reject normal fluid insertion consistently.
  • Fixed held DampNull capability behavior so external fills target only the selected tank instead of spreading across every available tank.
  • Doubled DampNull tank capacity defaults across tiers. Emerald tanks now default to 512,000 mB each, and legacy untouched configs are migrated to the new defaults automatically.

Automation and Transfer Behavior

  • Docked DeepNull automation now treats default Keep 1 slots as effectively extract all, while still respecting any slot that was explicitly configured to another extraction rule.
  • Added a config option to disable the Crafting Tweaks integration that returns cleared crafting-grid items back into a DeepNull.
  • Fixed JEI dry-run transfer checks so the + button no longer behaves as available when the required items are not actually present.
  • Tightened player-thrown item handling and pickup gating to avoid DeepNull bypassing vanilla pickup delay behavior.

Stoneworks and Filtering

  • Stoneworks target amount now supports the full integer range instead of stopping at 9999.
  • Added support for real modded dust block outputs such as ftbstuff:dust, while continuing to ignore redstone dust.
  • Added the new Connections preset to the in-game GuideME docs and repo wiki mirror.

AE2, Mekanism, and Integration Work

  • Adjusted AE2 transfer compatibility paths and capability behavior for current 1.21.1 integration testing.
  • Expanded regression coverage for Mekanism and AE2 runtime lanes in CI.
  • Fixed several carried-item and automation edge cases uncovered during live pack testing on the NeoForge 1.21.1 line.
