DeepDark Void is a content-focused mod that expands Minecraft with a dark and hostile atmosphere built around the Deep Dark, the Void, corruption, and new threats.
The mod adds many features, including special blocks, unique items, weapons, armor, new void-based materials, and 43 additional custom entities that make exploration more dangerous and immersive. These include corrupted creatures, void-themed entities, and new enemies and allies taking part in a true alliance against corruption.
The mod’s progression also revolves around key mechanics. By killing the Warden, the player can obtain the item named warden-cité-skull_active, whose description is: “Awakens the netherite lighter and unlocks the Ancient City portal.” This item is used to enchant the Netherite Lighter, allowing the player to activate the Ancient City portal and open the path to the Deep Dark.
Once this dimension is opened, the adventure continues with new dangers, new resources, and spreading corruption. The mod also adds a new portal built with Void Blocks, allowing players to return to the Overworld after exploring the Deep Dark.
With its dark identity and progression focused on rare resources, combat, survival, and exploration, DeepDark Void delivers a more advanced, more difficult, and far more threatening experience than vanilla Minecraft.
