Deep Dark Dimension 2.1.0 Beta 5a:

2.0.4 has been changed to 2.1.0; Forge will still be supported for this release.

Deep Dark Dimension is switching to NeoForge:

2.1.0 will be the last version of Deep Dark Dimension to support Forge. I'm switching to NeoForge because it is faster, supports 1.20.4, and it would be a pain to release the mod for both modloaders as they run on different Minecraft versions and I would need to bug test twice.

Main Changes:

Updated to 1.20.4 (Since 2.0.4 b3a)

Switched to NeoForge 20.4.223 (Since 2.0.4 b3a)

Added Echoite Upgrade Smithing Template(Currently uses the Netherite Upgrade texture as a placeholder)

Renamed all 'Echo' tools and armor to 'Echoite'

Renamed 'Echoite' to 'Echoite Ingot'

Renamed 'Echo and Steel' to 'Echoite and Steel'

All Echoite tools and armor are now made in a smithing table with Echoite Ingots instead of the crafting table

Added an advancement for obtaining an Echoite Ingot

Added back the alternate recipe for Echoite and Steel

Suspicious Stew with the Darkness effect now lasts 8 seconds(160 ticks) instead of 5(100 ticks)

Technical Changes:

Made registries more consistent(WILL DELETE ITEMS IN OLD WORLDS)

Recipes now properly unlock
