It's been 7 months since I've started making this quite huge update and It's FINALLY released...

Long ago there was a bad mod called Dead Guy's Untitled Deep Dark, it was bad and barelly had anything to the mod, until this update has been released...

(if you ask why I've caleld it the 4.0 Content Update I will have to find you..)

 

Lets see what is new!

 

-Sculk Shrieker:  revealed on Minecon 2021, but it's quite different to the Original, the only way to trigger it is to Look at it or Walk on it, once triggered it will lose it's sould energy and gives you the Darkness effect, but to recharge it you just have right click whit a soul sand, if you wanna get it for yourself you need to mine it whit a Silk Touch Pickaxe

 

-Sculk Flagon:  it's like a beacon on the Deep Dark, it can give you powerfull effects which make the Deep Dark easier and better, you can get the Effects using items found in the deep dark, you can see what items you need in the Help Gui, speaking of which,...

 

-Help Gui:  by pressing a key (f1 is default) you can open a helpfull "guide" for the deep dark, it teaches you: how to enter and leave the deep dark, the mobs found on the deep dark, how to get the discs, using the sculk flagon and stuff...

 

-New Mobs:  what gives a life to a Minecraft Mod other than mobs, living breathing dead mobs. The Sculk Emissiary, The Sculk Villager and the Sculk Mite are the new mobs around town, each one of them are powerfull...

 

-Remastered Sounds: yeah soo I added some new sounds and remastered some, like the warden has some sounds, and uhh, the sculk spy is like now cool, oh yeah also the sculk block has the sounds from the real thin.

 

-Warden Variants: yeah the warden got new drip'

 

-Repairing Light n' Dark: Many people have complained to me that the Light n' Dark is annoying because it breaks, so now you can repair it using some Obsidian!

 

 

-Advancements:  the mod was boring whitout advancements, so I added a lot of them! Maybe too many...

 

-Items:  just items

 

-Sculk Mush: once you broke a sculk block, instead of getting the sculk block, you will get Sculk Mush! You can eat, it dosen't give you to much saturation or sometin, but it gives you xp once you ate it!

 

-Sculk o' Finder:  despite it's name, it actually shows you mobs around the deep dark, it's pretty usefull to find caves around by! (remember to not have a low entity distance tho)

 

-Item Creative Tab: it's... an Item creative tab!

 

-Removed "Discs" Creative Tab: dat boy gonn

 

-New Music:  Like a Spy music disc kinda cool

 

-Remastered Spawning on the Deep Dark:  people have been complaining that the entering mechanic sucks because it suffocates you on the Deep Dark, so now you will always spawn on Y:40 and will spawn on a cabin (if you're asking why you spawn on y:40, it's because you can find more caves in there)

 

-Remastered Ore's:  people have been complaining that the ores only drop the Ore Block and not the contents of the ore, so now if you mine an ore like the Deep Stone Diamond ore, you get the item (Diamond) and also have a chance to get a Block of the Ore (Diamond Block) !

 

-New Trap:  The Sculk assiliant is a brand new trap in the Deep Dark, it functions like the Sculk Biter but different, when you walk, it spawns a Sculk Tooth which deals heavy damage!

 

-New Candle Model:  this only applies to 1.16 versions, the old candle model was poop, so it's cooler now

 

-Sculk Bones: sculk ossein are cool :)

 

-New Plants and Plants Rename:  The Sculk Sprout and the Tall Sculk Turf are the new plants! Also the Sculk Trailing has been renamed to the Sculk Rambler!

 

-Fixed Recipies: just fixed some recipies

 

-New Sculk Growth model: the Sculk Growth has now been changed to the Minecon 2021 deep dark preview!

 

-Fixed Cold Deep Stone generation: yeah i just fixed some stuff, and also cold sculk turf will spawn in the overworld now.

 

-Fixed Dahlia Plant generations: the Dahlia Plant was basiclly non-existent so now it can spawn at low Y levels!

 

-Cold Sculk: like the Cold Deep Stone, it can spawn in the overworld at low Y levels!

 

-Cold Sculk Growths: It can spawn at low Y levels!

 

 

 

And a lot of bug fixes and stuff! I felt trapped in this endless loop of just working on this mod forever, and it's finally out for people to play it! Always remember to report glitches and bugs in the comment section! Thanks and have fun!
