Hello everyone!

Today, we’re here for one of the last update notes for the mod, announcing version 1.0.4!

This will be the final update before I start working on the next version, which will mark the beginning of Phase 2 of the beta.

But before we dive into that next stage, let’s focus on this big update that our community has been eagerly waiting for.

I want to warmly thank Trailmaker, Soleil Bleu, and Link for their participation and feedback, as well as the entire community who took the time to play the mod.

We have reached 42 downloads. It may seem modest, but for me, it’s huge after more than six months of work on Phase 1!

The official mod release is scheduled for Saturday, May 2, 2026.

⚠️ Important before updating

Before installing this version, please make a backup of your world!

Some changes to the code and terrain generation could corrupt existing worlds, particularly due to the changes in structures.

⚙️ Loot Table (Nanocore Blocks and Destructor Guardian Block)

The loot tables have been completely overhauled to improve the consistency of drops and player satisfaction. Each Nanocore block now has its own dedicated, better-tuned loot table, ensuring a more natural progression without removing the thrill of discovery or the value of rare items.

This revamp remains open to future adjustments: if certain balances do not fully meet player expectations, further changes may be made to ensure a consistently fair and enjoyable experience.

⚙️ Loot Table (Structures)

The loot from structures has also been redesigned to provide a more rewarding and coherent experience. Each chest, reward, or rare item has been adjusted to better reflect the difficulty and rarity of the explored structure. The goal is to make every discovery more meaningful while maintaining a sense of progression and achievement.

We remain attentive to player feedback: if some loot still feels unbalanced or insufficiently rewarding, additional adjustments will be made to maintain consistent balance and an enjoyable gameplay experience.

🏰 Structures Update

Big news!

After much effort, the structures have finally been updated for you! Some iconic structures have been redesigned: the Volgarion Castle, the Volgarion Temple, and the Crystallized Ship.

🔹 Redesign: Volgarion Castle

  • The rooms have been completely reworked and adapted to your combat terrains. The total number of rooms remains the same, but exploration is now faster.
  • Visuals have been updated: villagers’ houses now feel warmer, and traces of past battles reflect the exploits of the great warrior. The experience concludes with a peaceful scene.
  • Challenge generators have been revamped: Phase 1 is now more flexible for the player. To progress to Phase 2, you will need to use a Fenestre Trial Potion (Potion of Bad Omen).
  • For now, up to Phase 3 of the beta, zombie-type mobs will still spawn. I am still considering whether to replace them with mod-specific monsters or leave vanilla mobs.

🔹 Adjustments: Volgarion Temple

  • The structure has been decorated and lit for a more immersive experience.
  • A mystery awaits near a sword planted in the ground…

🔹 Structure Generation

  • Structure generation is key to the mod’s fun.
  • Volgarion Castle: will appear more rarely.
  • Crystallized Ship: will now generate at high altitudes, in the sky.
  • Volgarion Temple: will now generate underground, between Y=0 and Y=-54.

✨ New Feature

  • In Creative Mode, you can now more easily locate all mod blocks and items.
