Custom Shards: Evolution

Custom Shards is a professional-grade progression mod for NeoForge 1.21.4. This mod changes the way you play Survival by giving vanilla mobs unique, rare loot that cannot be found anywhere else.

Core Gameplay Features

This mod adds a "Hunter" mechanic to Minecraft. You no longer just kill mobs for food; you hunt them for their Essence. Every feature is designed to be balanced, lag-free, and survival-friendly.

The Shard Guide (Drops and Rarities)

Each shard represents a specific power. To obtain them, you must find and defeat the following mobs:

• Health Shard

  • Source: Pigs

  • Drop Chance: 5% (1 in 20)

  • Feature: Represents your core life force. High-visibility red texture makes it easy to find in the grass.

• Speed Shard

  • Source: Rabbits

  • Drop Chance: 10% (1 in 10)

  • Feature: A reward for the most difficult land hunt. These shards glow with an agile yellow aura.

• Night Shard

  • Source: Bats

  • Drop Chance: 25% (1 in 4)

  • Feature: Gives a real purpose to cave exploration! These shards hold the Eye of the Dark essence.

• Void Shard

  • Source: The Wither (Boss)

  • Drop Chance: 100% (Guaranteed)

  • Feature: The ultimate trophy. A dark, pulsating shard that proves you have conquered the Void.
