What's new
Crystalbound 0.45.0 — Minecraft 26.3
Changes since 0.44.8
New content
-
Added Remote
-
Added a looping helicopter propeller sound using the supplied recording, with slight pitch changes when ascending or descending.
-
Added a Hostiles: Off / On setting to Mitosis Management. Clones can automatically target hostile mobs while prioritizing their owner’s attack and defense targets.
-
Added a solid black-and-purple Shadow Shard model.
-
Shadow Lamps now craft shapelessly from 1 Shadow Shard and 1 Glass.
Crystal reworks and balance
-
Spring: Now Medium tier. Jumps reach three times normal height, solid surfaces bounce you unless crouching, and sprinting preserves momentum in the air.
-
Lantern: Personal light increased from level 4 to 10. Its placed wisp lasts 60 seconds and reveals all mobs within 20 blocks through walls, excluding players.
-
Prospector: Extra drops from qualifying natural ores now occur 25% of the time. Placed ores and ordinary blocks remain excluded.
-
Time: Added a 1.5-second warning with sound before activation. Burnout reduced to three seconds.
-
Shadow: The dome finishes forming one second sooner. Its owner receives saturation twice as quickly inside.
-
Worldroot: Moved the small inner roots inward so their transition into larger roots is concealed beneath the shell.
-
Gravity: Removed the crouching area-gravity feature. Successful melee hits now change the target’s gravity toward your aim for 30 seconds, with a ten-second trigger cooldown.
-
Bramble: Doubled its radius to six blocks. Trapped enemies standing on supported terrain cannot jump.
-
Comet: Increased maximum flight duration to 15 seconds and widened its attack sweep by 50%.
-
Sun: Its burning aura now affects eligible mobs wearing helmets or other armor.
-
Kinetic: Added a one-second warning with sound before discharge. Energy absorbed during the warning remains available for a later blast.
-
Static: Cooldown reduced from 30 to 20 seconds.
-
Mend: Cooldown reduced from 40 to 30 seconds.
-
Bond: Healing shared with your partner increased from 25% to 50%.
-
Stitch: Bridges now last 45 seconds instead of 20.
-
Mirror: Each three-second activation can reflect up to three projectiles. Weakness applies only if nothing was reflected. Returned arrows now correctly account for alternate gravity when aiming at their shooter.
-
Overdrive: Boost duration increased from ten to 20 seconds.
-
Titan: Transformation duration increased from 20 to 30 seconds.
-
Bastion: Barrier duration increased from ten to 15 seconds.
-
Singularity: Self-slow reduced from 90% to 50%.
-
Marionette: Targeting range increased to 24 blocks, possession duration to 30 seconds, and tether range to 72 blocks.
-
Astral: Scouting tether increased from 32 to 64 blocks.
-
Miniature: Now receives 25% more combat knockback, including on alternate gravity axes.
-
Orbit: Projectile launch cooldown increased from one to two seconds.
-
Siphon: Stored food capacity reduced from ten full hunger bars to five. Refill rate and hunger/saturation accounting remain unchanged.
-
Echo: Now High tier. New recipe: 1 Unbound Crystal, 1 Echo Shard, 1 Diamond Block, 1 Note Block, and 4 Amethyst Shards. Damage and cooldown remain unchanged.
-
Cataclysm: Shockwaves and sparks now occupy a spherical volume. All five waves can damage the same target without ordinary hit cooldowns blocking most of them. Armor, protection enchantments, PvP rules, and trial protections still apply. Pending waves cancel if the caster changes dimensions.
Summon improvements
-
Grave’s undead companions and Worldroot’s rootbound Bogged now use clone-style pathfinding and maintain separate positions behind their owner.
-
Followers keep out of their owner’s way and navigate walls, hazards, cliffs, and alternate gravity more reliably.
-
Improved navigation over roots, bridges, and other supported platforms, plus movement through water and onto shore.
-
Telekinesis armor companions follow safer routes while retaining their hovering movement.
-
Worldroot heart defenders use safer navigation within their arena.
-
Heart defenders can no longer damage their own Forest Heart or healing branches, including with arrows whose shooter has died or unloaded.
Clones, Reflection, and helicopter fixes
-
Improved shared combat AI with weapon selection, critical hits, more persistent chasing, and better navigation around corners.
-
Clones and the Reflection can prepare with positive potions and golden apples, retreat farther before eating, and maintain nutrition even at full health.
-
Copied hotbar and offhand supplies remain finite and are consumed normally.
-
Removed free passive regeneration from ordinary clones.
-
Fixed clone armor and enchantments applying incorrectly after creation or restoration.
-
Corrected Reflection movement speed.
-
Fixed food and potion animations after lowering shields.
-
Restored ordinary clone walking animations while keeping placed, carried, and helicopter bodies rigid.
-
Clones can be placed on supported clones. Unsupported stacks fall along their gravity axis.
-
Clones retain valid combat targets for up to five minutes.
-
Improved helicopter dismount reliability, including brief key presses and rebound controls.
-
Trimmed and crossfaded the helicopter recording for continuous looping.
-
Fixed walking animations on possessed mobs.
Trials, Tempo, and other fixes
-
New Overworld trial placement checks the entire structure footprint for water and ice, avoiding beach sites that leave rooms underwater.
-
New trial locations are planned together to prevent overlapping structures.
-
Small Shadow dungeons avoid the planned main Court location, including before the Court has generated.
-
Fixed the Vault locator resolving the wrong vertical origin.
-
Prevented natural mob spawning inside trial areas without blocking intended encounter enemies.
-
Shortened Tempo’s course to 2,000 blocks with 62 gates and a ding at each successful checkpoint.
-
Fixed a secondary Tempo clock-packet error during server shutdown.
-
Fixed newly created Extreme crystals from Creative mode or /give expiring prematurely. They now receive their full 24-hour real-time item deadline.
-
Updated Codex and equip-menu descriptions to match the new stats and downsides.
Existing generated trial locations and progress are preserved.
