Description
CryCore is a real simple mod. Originally it didn't even add recipes or even block drops of its own, only blocks and items. All CryCore does is add oredicted ore block variants (like stone ores, andesite ores, etc.), correspondingly oredicted metal block, ingots, nuggets, gears, plates and dust. As well as a few other things like a conversion crystal. The only recipes it adds are smelting ores into ingots, and using the ingots to make nuggets and gears. Plate and dust recipes have to be added with something like CraftTweaker because these items wouldn't really serve any purpose in just vanilla. It also provides no worldgen so you'll have to use something like CoFH Core for that too.
Though it's unlikely to be there by release, a config to disable any item it adds individually or entire modules that aren't needed is planned.
This mod is designed for the Crystialis Rebirth modpack that's still indev, but there's nothing stopping anyone else from using it if the want to use it as well. It's just a mod to be used so you're not reliant upon ores from a content mod in case you plan to remove it or something similar in the future. I'll bugfix where necessary, and port if I feel like it. In all honesty I just wanted a mod that has the basic ores and stuff without all the other bloat, or at least the ability to disable what isn't needed.
