create_train_functionality-0.1.10.jar
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
0.1.10 — 2026-10-09
The first public release since 0.1.8 — everything from the two test builds since (0.1.9-experimental and 0.1.10-experimental), in one go. The theme: an audit of every way a buildable train could lose or duplicate your things when it is disassembled and assembled again, with each fix measured before and after.
Highlights
- Waystones ride with the train. A waystone built on a deck stays aboard through disassembly and reassembly at the same station (needs WaystonesSable).
- Train Controls you build onto a train now drive it.
- Windmills, bearings, pistons and pulleys running on the deck go with the train. Before, anything they were moving was lost when the train was disassembled - and a windmill that was turning when the train was assembled starts up on the deck by itself, so its sails were always lost.
- Sophisticated Storage keeps its upgrades through server restarts and disassembly, and a Sophisticated double chest no longer comes back twice (once inside, once on the ground).
- Fewer ways to duplicate or lose items: chests (single and double), silos and double crates, fluid tanks you built onto, a container swapped for another kind on the deck, a train whose build splits in two, and a build left unloaded far from its train.
- Disassembly tells you what it will lose - blocks Create itself will not carry are named in chat.
- With Create: Threaded Trains, a buildable train now burns solid fuel.
Not fixed yet: a windmill turning on a buildable train can spin the whole train body with it while parked. It is not new (earlier versions did it too) and it is being looked into.
And one more, since 0.1.10-experimental:
- FIXED — on a server, the schematic check could refuse the wrong "Save and Upload" and miss the right one. The server half of the check read the selection's size as if it were its far corner, so it looked at a box stretching from your selection toward the middle of the world. A schematic saved far from any train could be refused because a buildable train stood somewhere in between, and one drawn right over a buildable train could get past this check (another check behind it still stopped the file). Measured both ways; it now looks at exactly what you selected.
