Create Aeronautics: Mekanism Compatibility

Create Aeronautics: Mekanism Compatibility lets key Mekanism machines work when they are built onto Create Aeronautics airships and other Sable-powered physics contraptions.

Normally, Mekanism machines are tied to fixed world positions. Once they are assembled into a moving contraption, that can make machines act like they are still sitting in the hidden Sable storage area instead of on the airship. This mod makes supported machines use their visible position in the world.

This mod is intended for packs that combine Mekanism with Create Aeronautics, Create Simulated, and Sable. It is especially useful for airships, mobile bases, and flying mining rigs that carry Mekanism machinery.

Notes

Back up worlds before testing early compatibility builds. This is a server-side compatibility mod, but players should keep the matching mod in their client pack when connecting to a modded server that requires it.

Digital Miner Scan Notes

The mounted Digital Miner scanner is designed around the miner's current projected world-space scan volume, not a permanent trail of every chunk the airship has crossed. Scan jobs are budgeted and skip unloaded, empty, and impossible chunk sections before walking block states.
