Crafting Space Journey v0.2.13 Patch Notes

Stability Improvements

  • Improved overall stability by running many procedures on the server side only.

Block Destruction Beam Gun

  • Increased the weapon's damage.
  • Fixed a synchronization issue that could occur while destroying blocks.

Dry Ice Improvements

  • Fixed several behavior bugs.
  • Dry Ice now creates an area-of-effect Slowness on impact.
  • Deals bonus damage to Blazes.
  • When it hits Lava or a Magma Block, it turns them into Obsidian.
  • Exploring the Nether is now much easier.

Laser & Manipulator Tier 1

  • Can now process all three vanilla fish:
    • Cod
    • Salmon
    • Pufferfish

Each fish now provides unique by-products:

  • Cod → Cod Roe
  • Salmon → Salmon Roe (Ikura)
  • Pufferfish → Pufferfish Liver

Cod Roe and Salmon Roe can be eaten as food.

Pufferfish Liver is used to craft Water Breathing Potions.

Added Sky Opener

A brand-new machine has been added.

When powered by a Redstone signal, the Sky Opener gradually removes every block above it within the same chunk.

Removal begins at Y=319, so clearing an entire column takes some time.

Added Manual Quarry

A new early-game quarry has been added.

  • Hold Right Click after placing it.
  • Consumes Hunger while operating.
  • Mines ores located below it within the same chunk.
  • Mined ores are dropped directly on top of the Manual Quarry.

Automatic item collection is not supported, so you'll need to pick up the ores yourself.

Added Paper Box

Paper Boxes have been added.

In future updates, all non-liquid by-products currently obtained from Wooden Containers will instead be obtained from Paper Boxes.

Existing Wooden Container recipes that produce non-liquid by-products will also be migrated.

Craft Doubling Furnace Recipe Updated

The recipe has been rebalanced.

Players must now build Submarine Tier 1 before they can craft the Craft Doubling Furnace.

Time to burn even more charcoal!

Added Light Planks

A new decorative building block.

  • Emits the same light level as a Torch.
  • Fireproof.
  • Resistant to Ghast fireballs.

Easy to mass-produce and perfect for lighting floors and ceilings.

Added Sleeping Pillow & Alarm Clock

Hold Right Click to sleep at any time.

Using them will:

  • Skip directly to morning.
  • Clear rainy weather.
  • Does not change your respawn point.

Crafting Device Terminology Unified

The names of reusable crafting devices have been standardized.

  • Crafting Machine — Uses Batteries.
  • Crafting Tool — Does not require Batteries.
  • Crafting Devices — Collective term for both Crafting Machines and Crafting Tools.

New Creative Tab

Added a new Creative Mode tab:

Contains:

  • Author information
  • Additional vanilla crafting recipes
  • Helpful information for new players

Added Configuration Plate

The Configuration Plate has been added.

In future updates, recipes that currently use Sticks (such as Wooden Containers and Tickets) will gradually be converted to use the Configuration Plate instead.

UI Improvements

  • Improved various tooltips and item names for better readability.
  • Animated the JEI search helper items for better visibility.
  • Completely redesigned machine textures.
  • Added animations to several machine blocks.

Recipe Changes

  • Adjusted recipes for several items.
