Quasar Client Companion v1.0.5

NEW FEATURES

  • In-Game Settings Screen: Added a new Quasar Settings screen, accessible via the gold "Q" button in Minecraft's Options menu. Toggle QChat and network tab list players on or off.
  • Server List Integration: CDU servers now appear automatically at the top of your Multiplayer server list with a gold header and branded entries. Servers are pulled from the CDU API, so new ones show up without needing a mod update. CDU entries can't be edited or deleted from the list.
  • Welcome Message: A welcome toast notification now shows the first time you interact with the title screen after launching the game.
  • Chat Heads Compatibility: Full support for the Chat Heads mod. Player heads now render correctly next to messages in QChat channel views.
  • Persistent Config: All settings are saved to a JSON config file (config/quasar_client/config.json) and persist across sessions. Includes mod pack branding, server entries, chat preferences, and tab list options.

IMPROVEMENTS

  • Reorganized internal GUI code for better maintainability.
  • The mod now sends its version and tab list preference to the server on login for better server-side compatibility.

OTHER

  • Added CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license.
