v26.1.2-2 Release | Oct 3, 2026
✨ New Features
- Configured (MrCrayfish) shows CoolCatLib: Core's configs: every mod with one gets Configured's screens in NeoForge's mod list and Mod Menu while Glazed Menu isn't installed (with Glazed Menu, its screens show them instead). Booleans, numbers, enums and text get Configured's own widgets; colors, ids, lists and other types are edited as text. Synced configs are edited on the server for players allowed to.
🔧 Changes
- The config screens moved out of Core into Glazed Menu, a standalone client-only mod (
glazedmenu) that reads Core's configs when Core is installed.ConfigEditors,EditSlotandValueEditorare now innet.ixdarklord.glazedmenu.api.editor. Core'sConfigScreens(api.config.client) stays as a bridge: with Glazed Menu installed its methods open Glazed Menu's screens, and without it they open nothing (they return null;isAvailable()tells which, andtellUnavailable(config)tells the player how to change the config)./coolcatcore_client config openis now/glazedmenu [mod] [config/category]. Core still loads, saves, syncs and hot reloads configs and keeps its other commands; without Glazed Menu (or Configured) there's just no in-game editor, and a startup mismatch on joining a server is the disconnect message alone. - The styled widgets and theme effects moved to CoolCatLib: Canvas:
ConfigEffectandConfigEffectsare innet.ixdarklord.coolcatcanvas.api.client.gui.theme. The player's screen settings (dark/light mode, opacities, effects, transitions) are Glazed Menu's now, so Core has no client config of its own anymore. - Core no longer registers config buttons in NeoForge's mod list or Mod Menu; Glazed Menu or Configured does.
