# Compound V Tweaks Update Changelog

This update is a big expansion for Compound V Tweaks, focused on giving players more powers, more ways to fight supes, and more toys to experiment with in survival or creative worlds.

## New Powers

Several new Compound V powers have been added to the addon.

Swapstep lets you instantly swap places with a target you are looking at, leaving a warped visual trail and briefly disorienting the target.

Ore Sight reveals nearby ores with colored outlines, making mining feel more like a proper supe scanning ability.

Impact Landing turns hard falls into shockwaves, damaging and knocking away nearby enemies when you land.

Starlight stores light energy over time and can fire a bright beam or release a solar pulse. It also gets stronger near redstone lamps, which will flicker while powering you.

Serpent gives you acid spit and poison clouds, but can also be used as a support power to heal and cleanse allies.

Perfect Live Form adapts after killing mobs, giving different traits depending on what kind of creature you absorbed.

Dimensional Drift lets you fold players into a temporary pocket space, with stronger versions able to throw targets into other dimensions.

Brightstar makes you glow with useful light and helps with exploring dark places.

Vegetative Necrosis drains plant life around you, rotting grass and flowers while feeding or healing you from the decay.

Verdant Bloom does the opposite, spreading growth, helping plants flourish, and slowing enemies on plant-covered ground.

Lamplighter lets you use fire in a more direct way when holding flint and steel.

Rolling Rampage turns you into a crashing ball of force, knocking mobs away, bouncing off walls, and breaking weaker blocks.

Firecracker is a weaker failed power with chaotic sparks, tiny explosions, random knockback, and occasional accidental cooking.

Noir Visions adds creepy hallucinations and whispers, but sometimes reveals nearby danger.

Silk Weaver makes you shed string and can panic-cocoon you in webs when badly hurt.

## Cyberware

This update adds the first real cyberware system.

You can now equip cyberware in a custom 10-slot cyberware inventory. Cyberware works from any slot, so you do not have to sacrifice your normal armor slots.

New cyberware includes:

* Dampener Gauntlet
* Junk Battery Belt
* Scrap Cybernetic Leg Braces
* Scrap Spine Rig
* Calibrated Cyber Component

The battery belt powers active cyberware, the gauntlet helps suppress supes, the leg braces improve movement, and the spine rig helps when you get hit or land hard.

## Rusty Cybernetics Workbench

A new Rusty Cybernetics Workbench has been added.

This is the main crafting station for cyberware. It has its own model, animation, menu, and JEI support.

## Wasteland Raider Exosuit

A new prototype exosuit system has been added.

The Wasteland Raider Exosuit starts in a rack. Right-click the rack to assemble it, wait for the animation, then walk through it to equip the suit.

The suit follows your player model, hides your normal body to prevent clipping, and gives access to exosuit abilities.

## Scanner Glasses

Scanner Glasses have been improved.

They can now show more useful information when looking at entities, including detected powers, statuses, threat info, and possible counters.

## Power Dampener Field Core

The Power Dampener Field Core has been updated with a new model and better behavior.

It can weaken and damage Compound V users when fueled, making it a stronger anti-supe tool for bases and traps.

## Hazmat Suit System

The Hazmat Deployment Pad and hazmat suit have been improved.

The suit protects against radiation from the dampener system, follows the player better, and breaks after taking enough hits.

## Flesh Forge And Blood Beast

Flesh Forge and Blood Beast received more polish.

The suit visuals now hide the player underneath to reduce clipping, controls have been cleaned up, and Blood Beast remains one of the strongest V1-style transformations in the addon.

## Speedster Improvements

Speedster gameplay has been tuned again.

Speed controls are cleaner, water running has been adjusted, and movement should feel better with the addon installed.

## Vought Control Book

The Vought Control Book has been expanded with more options for testing, presets, and direct power control.

It should now be much easier for admins or creative players to test powers without editing config files manually.

## Commands

The `/compoundvtweaks` command now supports giving and clearing powers more easily.

Example:

Power names can be tab-completed.

## JEI Support

JEI support has been expanded for the addon.

More recipes and workstations should now show properly, including the cybernetics workbench and new cyberware crafting.

## Recipes And Items

New recipes were added for the new cyberware, exosuit rack, and related components.

New models, textures, and animations were also added for the cyberware and exosuit systems.

## Final Notes

This is a large update, so feedback is very welcome.

More powers, more cybernetics, and more anti-supe tools are planned for future updates.
