What's new
Compound Core 0.5
This is a testing checkpoint for Compound Core. The Core changes below are packaged in compound-0.5.jar. The JAR passed 61 automated tests; it has not yet been tested in a running client or server.
Tools and combat
-
Added the Wood → Stone → Iron → Gilded → Diamond → Netherite upgrade path for axes, pickaxes, shovels, and hoes. Upgrades use the reviewed seals, recipes, and item-acquisition rules.
-
Ordinary tools and shears now deal at most one point of direct-hit damage after combat scaling. They cannot activate Warrior weapon abilities; Core ability hits are unaffected.
-
Intercept now shows your equipped shield flying between targets and returning, with visible trails and impacts. Its hit and taunt rules are unchanged.
Shops, money, and shipping
-
New players can use
/shopto get a Bank Card and buy the $1,000 opening Trade Terminal before they own a terminal. Other shop access stays locked as before. -
The Bank Card’s $16 cash price now displays in dollars. Coin and bank-account payments keep their separate rules.
-
JEI now has a Compound Shop category showing each bundled offer’s contents, price, unlock requirement, and department.
-
Mega Torch is sold through the shop; its original crafting recipe is disabled.
-
Iron Sprinklers are available at the start. Gold, Diamond, and Netherite Sprinklers require matching team irrigation licences.
-
Added a survival crafting recipe for the Compound watering can.
-
New Shipping Bin payouts go to the placing player’s bank account by default, or to a bound Account Card in the first slot. Recovery for older physical payouts remains available.
-
Fixed physical coin payouts that use a full 64-item stack in Shipping Bin slots.
-
Nine reviewed village loot tables now have per-player cash and a small chance of prepared food. Existing early gear odds remain.
Farming and loot
-
Mature wheat in generated fields can be harvested by hand or hoe for produce without seeds.
-
Mature generated-field carrots, potatoes, and beetroots also yield produce without seeds. They are not replaced with wheat.
-
Orange pumpkins can drop from marked generated structures. Reviewed wild crops from Farmer’s Delight and Farm & Charm yield produce without seeds when visibly mature.
-
Changed how selected structure loot tables load to address the observed world-load failure. Unrelated loot tables are left alone.
-
Updated Core’s compatibility check for the exact reviewed Lootr version.
Interface and abilities
-
Fixed the Field Guide’s inventory button position and click area, including when the recipe book moves or the GUI is small.
-
Restored
Pto Minecraft’s Social Interactions screen. The Ability Book has a separate default key, and savedPconflicts are migrated. -
Added search to Key Binds by action, category, or assigned key. Minecraft’s normal remap and reset controls remain.
-
The movable ability bar can be sized from 50% to 150%. Its F10 placement screen stays sharp, and its drag area follows the displayed size.
-
The Combat Meter has its own size setting and nine screen positions. Clicks stay aligned with the scaled display.
-
The Ability Book has a paged rank viewer with fuller descriptions and corrected Warrior, Ranger, and Healer details.
-
Floating healing numbers render cleanly in front of their backgrounds.
Art and presentation
-
Added the final reviewed Earthbound T5 model and two worn armor textures. T6–T9 art is unchanged.
-
Replaced 21 packaged cannabis flower sprites with original pouch art.
-
Replaced 17 other reviewed sprites and added infused-butter art, including corrected models for 20 infused-butter items.
-
Updated shop, JEI, and Field Guide text to use Gold, Diamond, and Netherite Irrigation Licence titles without changing the underlying unlocks.
