colonylink-1.7.0-beta.2.jar
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
## Road to 1.7.0
The next few versions are betas. 1.6.9 stays the recommended stable version until 1.7.0 is out.
- **Beta 2 (this one):** the Warehouse Link Card remembers its colony and its Warehouse instead of guessing the nearest one
- Beta 3: Citizens tab rework, so a request you already sent doesn't come back as "Send" a few seconds later
- 1.7.0: all of the above, tested, and the Redirector and Warehouse Link Terminal should work on Create: Aeronautics ships

### What's in beta.2
**The Warehouse Link Card now stores its colony and Warehouse.** No more guessing.
- The tooltip shows the colony name, dimension (outside the Overworld) and Warehouse position. A blank card reads "Not linked – links on insert".
- Inserting a blank card into a Terminal or Redirector links it automatically to the colony where you have hut access, picking the closest Warehouse. In a Redirector, the colony of its paired Builder is used first.
- Right-click a Warehouse hut with the card in hand to link it to that specific Warehouse. This also works to move a card to a different Warehouse or colony.
- Everything in the mod now reads the card: Terminal panels, Send, Check Warehouse, Warehouse crafts, Package sends. If your colony has multiple Warehouses, they all use the one on the card instead of picking one at random.
- A Redirector refuses a card linked to a different colony than its Builder's.
- If the card's colony was deleted or its ID got reassigned to a new colony, you get a clear message. The card keeps its data so you can right-click a Warehouse to relink it.
- Pairing a Redirector with the Clipboard now requires hut access in the Builder's colony.
- You can craft a linked card alone in a crafting table to get a blank card back.
**Upgrading from beta.1**
- Cards already in a Terminal inside a colony's claimed chunks link themselves when someone opens the Terminal.
- Cards already in a Redirector link themselves to the Builder's colony the first time someone with hut access opens it or uses it.
- Cards in a Terminal outside any claim: take the card out and put it back in.
