2.1.2 - the jar that would not open

A re-release of 2.1.1 with a correctly packaged jar. Nothing in the code changed.

  • What happened. The 2.1.1 jar had broken ZIP headers: Java's random-access reader was fine with it, but the game's launcher reads mod jars sequentially and stopped at the second entry - An unexpected IO error occurred trying to setup the game directory - invalid entry size (expected 3093364736 but got 55 bytes) on the early loading screen, before the mod list even appears. So 2.1.1 could not start the game at all; 2.1.0 was never affected.
  • The fix. 2.1.2 is built and packaged the normal way and verified with a sequential read. The broken 2.1.1 file has been pulled.

Thanks to colebo5 and General50001 for the report.

What 2.1.1 brought (now actually working)

Fixes a Talking Colonists session leak that left a citizen standing under "Listening" all night - and, because one sleepless citizen is enough, silenced MineColonies' "All citizens are tucked into bed". A non-player session that Gemini drops is now ended for good instead of reconnected forever when it had already been asked to end, or had produced nothing since it connected; a slow sweep every five seconds frees anything else that can pin a citizen (stale pregeneration slots, sessions older than ten minutes, closed sockets still holding a slot, urgent walks that never arrive, "busy" marks nobody lifted). Player conversations are never touched. [Sessions] lines in the log say who was freed and why.
