Seeing accurate cobblemon health during and outside of battle

Description

A specialized fork of Neat optimized for Cobblemon 1.7.1+ on Minecraft 1.21.1 with Fabric 0.18.4. Tested on 1.7.1, 1.7.2, and 1.7.3

Perfect UI Sync (NEW in v1.21.1-45) if updating, delete old config file

  • Client-Side HP Sync: Health bars now read directly from Cobblemon's client battle system
  • Perfect Animation Timing: Health bar changes are perfectly synchronized with Cobblemon's native UI
  • Ally/Enemy HP Visibility: Respects Cobblemon's game design
    • Your Pokemon: Shows exact HP (e.g., "45/100")
    • Enemy Pokemon: Shows percentage only (e.g., "45%")
  • Configurable via cobblemonRespectEnemyHpHiding setting (enabled by default)

Battle-Only Health Bars

  • Smart Visibility: Health bars only appear for Pokemon actively in battle
  • Accurate Battle HP: Displays real-time health during Cobblemon battles
  • Smooth Fade-out: Health bars gracefully fade away when battles end
  • Configurable via cobblemonBattleOnly setting (enabled by default)

Optimized for Cobblemon

  • Default settings tuned for Cobblemon battle visibility
  • Entity names shown by default
  • Regular Minecraft mobs unaffected by battle-only mode

  • Cobblemon: 1.7.1+ (required)

Configuration

All settings can be configured via the config file. Key Cobblemon settings include:

  • cobblemonBattleOnly: Only show health bars for battling Pokemon (default: true)
  • cobblemonRespectEnemyHpHiding: Show percentage for enemy Pokemon instead of exact HP (default: true)
  • maxDistance: Render distance for health bars (default: 48 blocks)
  • showEntityName: Display entity names on health bars (default: true)
  • Health bar appearance and colors
  • Display options for different entity types
