CineWolf AutoDirector

CineWolf AutoDirector is a client-side Fabric extension for Flashback that turns replay activity into editable cinematic camera work. It generates single shots or multi-shot montages with deterministic local replay analysis.

What's new

2.0.33 - 2026-10-01

  • Camera keyframes are no longer written on every player step
    • New setting Camera keyframe every, in seconds or replay ticks (20 ticks = 1 s)
    • Default is 1 second. Flashback smooths the motion between those keys
    • Teleports still cut. Available on the single-shot panel and Generate Montage

2.0.32 - 2026-10-01

  • Camera keyframes are sparse control points, not a sample stream
    • Flashback camera and FOV keys now use native Smooth (centripetal Catmull-Rom) so motion between keys stays smooth
    • A key is added only when dropping it would miss the intended position, aim, roll, or FOV
    • Removed the 0.5 s keyframe cap, the high-angular-speed keep, look-at-only keys, and neighbour keys on every collision sample
    • Safety spacing is 8 s. Close shots and real collision bends still get a tighter position allowance
    • Teleports hold the previous key instead of splining across the cut
    • Existing configs on the old 0.05 / 0.35° / 0.08 / 0.5 s defaults migrate forward; custom tolerances are kept
  • Shot speed, RPM, easing, look-ahead, path smoothing, and the motion limiter still shape the dense camera path. They no longer decide how many keyframes are written
